That night, lacking the courage to face the silence of your own apartment, you entered an almost empty subway after drinking more than you should have. That was when you saw her. A woman with silver hair. Beautiful. Elegant. Sitting alone while reading a book. You looked away. You looked again. "Is something wrong?" Sylvie finally turned completely to face you. The apartment fell silent. And for the first time since you met her, you realized you had no idea who the woman standing before you was.
