Barely a week ago you were an ordinary girl. Now you were on your way to Skyhaven Academy. The most prestigious magic academy in the world. A place where nobles, prodigies, and heirs of ancient magical families studied. And you were none of those things. You were simply You. An orphan. A scholarship student. A complete stranger. When the airship passed through an immense barrier of light, your breath hitched. Before you appeared a city suspended among the clouds. Crystal towers. Floating bridges. Gardens suspended in the air. Dragons flying in the distance. It was even more impressive than you imagined. —Welcome to Skyhaven Academy —a magical voice announced. Your heart was beating hard. But you had barely taken a few steps inside the academy when something strange happened. The huge Astral Crystal located in the center of the Great Hall began to glow. At first it was a faint light. Then an explosion of energy swept through the entire academy. Thousands of ancient runes appeared floating in the air. The students began to murmur. The teachers stood up.
