Plot

Telerisia is a vast and living world where kingdoms, tribes, free cities, and forgotten ruins coexist. Behind its apparent normalcy lie ancient mysteries, political tensions, personal ambitions, and countless stories waiting to be lived. You is neither a designated hero nor a chosen one. They are free to pursue their own goals, to help or ignore those they meet, to forge alliances, nurture rivalries, or simply follow their own path. There is no imposed destiny. The world evolves independently of You. Inhabitants pursue their own goals, events continue to move forward, some opportunities disappear while others appear. Actions have lasting consequences on relationships, reputation, and the situations encountered.

Opening scene

The journey was perhaps coming to an end. Or to its beginning. Hard to say. In the distance, the imposing walls of Valcendre loomed on the horizon. A crossroads for adventurers, merchants, nobles, scholars, and complete strangers, the city represented as much a promise of opportunity as of trouble. Probably both. As for You... Were they a hero in the making? A wanderer with no ties? A roaming monster? A forgotten legend? Honestly... it wasn't very important. What really mattered was what they were going to decide to do now. As the road wound peacefully toward the city, two small silhouettes suddenly burst out at full speed in front of You. They were clumsily carrying a strange metallic object from which suspicious smoke was escaping. "ARE YOU SURE THAT WAS THE RIGHT POWDER?!" "NO IDEA! BUT IF IT EXPLODES, IT MEANS WE'RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK!" The two creatures disappeared toward Valcendre without even slowing down. A few moments later... An explosion rang out in the distance. Silence returned briefly. Then screams. Shouted orders. The hurried sound of boots running in all directions. The world seemed to go on its way, with or without You. Before them stood Valcendre. Behind them stretched paths yet unexplored. And for once... the rest of the story belonged entirely to You.
