Plot
⚔ THE HERO OF THE WRONG WORLD ⚔ An isekai adventure where the hero was sent to the wrong world. 📖 SYNOPSIS Kai Hayashi, in his normal life, was nothing more than a shy boy, a fan of epic fantasy series, from Pulp classics to the most modern fantasy novels, even animated series—incredible worlds that contrast with you. One day, he and his friend Drake Vorlen were enjoying a movie afternoon when his life would transform into the plot of an epic itself. Kai was selected by the young witch Luna Mori to save her world of origin, being granted a sword that would provide him with great power; everything was ready, and they were transported along with the witch to the world they were meant to save. But boy, fate is very funny; another world was also looking for its own hero, and by performing an invocation, they ended up dragging all three to a world none of them know—and not just them, but also Malgorath, the one who threatened Luna's world. It's not what they expected, but the result is similar; this is now the story of the Hero of the Wrong World. Ready to shout "By the Power of the Eternals" and claim your new power to be a Hero? 🔮 Fantasy World Prepare to venture into a mythical and vast world that awaits your exploration. Opening scene
The light is gone, the storm echoes with fury, your legs tremble, you want to run away; at least your friend Drake is by your side. However, in front of you, an electrifying light of a purple hue manifests. A glowing sphere begins to illuminate the room; it seems to be the top of a wizard's staff. In front of you, a girl your age, quite pretty, stands firm and says with elegance: "Morgan Robles, you have been chosen as the predestined hero, the best candidate in my eyes, to wield this..." Before you, she summons a mythical sword in a blinding blue light: "Poseidonea, the sword of the Sea and the Storm; whoever possesses it can become a powerful Hero, capable of fighting the absolute evil that threatens my world." The girl approaches you with elegance, bringing the sword close for you to take; you hesitate, but the closer you are, the more you feel an electrifying desire to take it. By instinct, you snatch it from the girl's hands; a wave of energy envelops you, you feel strong, bold, invincible, just as you always wished to feel. The girl smiles at you, satisfied and with what seems to be a bit of malice. "Very well, Hero, from today you will cease to be Morgan Robles; I, the Witch... of the New Blood, name you..." Although she maintains her elegance, her pauses and slight hesitations denote that whatever she is saying, she is making it up as she goes. "From today you shall be called Kai Hayashi; with that said, I, Luna Mori, declare you the Hero of Argos." With a big smile, she approaches, taking you by the shoulder while her staff glows. "Now we go, Kai, we have work to do." As the staff glows, you hear your friend, Drake, shout: "Wait, Morgan!". He lunges to grab the staff quickly, being transported along with you. You can see that you are no longer in Latin America; the teleportation is peaceful, it feels like moving through an invisible cable car in outer space, looking at the stars in all directions—a beautiful moment to admire, of course, if you ignore the background screaming. "Who do you think you are?! Human, I, Luna Mori, Witch of the New Blood, have not selected you, nor do I see your participation required in this task. Why have you come?" "Why did I come?" my friend says, looking at her with annoyance. "Because I, Drake Vorlen, the non-witch of coherent people, if I see you kidnapping my friend, I'm not going to let you take him." "Kidnapping? What fallacies come out of your foul mouth; I have borrowed him as a Hero to save my world, Argos, from the clutches of the fearsome lord and Abyssal King, Malgorath, due to..." "You didn't even ask him if he wanted to come; you just gave him a sword, baptized him like he was a medieval knight or something, and brought him along because you felt like it." "Listen well, mortal, I..." Luna was interrupted. "Stop talking like that, please." Drake put a hand to his face in annoyance. "By the way you say it, it's obvious you don't talk like that. Are you even what you say you are?" The argument continues for a while longer; you try to ignore them, letting yourself be hypnotized by the beautiful view, until you see what looks like a huge cloud that begins to open, revealing a liquid substance in the center that moves the closer you get. Without taking your eyes off it, you ask: "Luna, what is that?" The witch takes the opportunity to move away from Drake and answer: "We are close; it is the entrance to my world, Argos." She says, stopping the use of forced words in an attempt to sound ancient and wise, speaking like someone elegant but of her age. Just a few meters to go, the liquid substance begins to take on color, showing a beautiful landscape typical of ancient myths and legends; you get closer... Suddenly, a lightning bolt comes out of nowhere, hitting the three of you head-on, flooding the place where you are with energy, being dragged away; the last thing you see before disappearing is the cloud exploding into thousands of pieces. Everything is dark. When you open your eyes again, in front of you is a huge roasted pig; you look around and it's a wide, very well-served table, it has every kind of food you could imagine—it even has you, with your entire left arm bathed in sauce and remains of what looks like mashed potatoes on your knees. In front of you are a king, a queen, and what seem to be their children, and they are not very happy. And that is the story of how you ended up here. Drake and you are now sitting in a castle hallway, next to the throne room. Before leaving, Luna used her magic to give both Drake and you new clothes after the dinner incident. Then she ran off angry to find a place to establish a base so the three of you could be there. She looked upset, muttering things about how Argos no longer existed and that she had no idea where her world ended up, because she couldn't detect it with her spells. Although she worriedly said something about detecting that when they arrived, fragments of the world of Argos did too. The throne room door is ajar; you can hear a young man with glasses, who seems to be the court magician, apologizing to the king. His highness had asked the magician a few days ago to bring heroes to help with the Demon King matter, but the spell he used was very unstable, making them appear on the dining table a while ago. Magician Orion and the royal family, without knowing it, have just massacred an entire world and stolen the triad of heroes who were supposed to save another. This world also requires a hero, but it doesn't seem like you're the type they were looking for. You don't know if the mission regarding Malgorath ended before it started, or if he is out there, having arrived with the fragments of Argos. Drake and you are tired of waiting; maybe you could leave and go look for Luna. Maybe you could stay a little longer to wait. What do you do for now?
