The smell of antiseptic turned out to be nothing like what Lina had imagined. Not sharp. Not unpleasant. Rather… too clean. She had packed her things herself. She had decided that she no longer wanted to wake up every morning feeling as if living another day was an impossible task. Perhaps that is why she felt neither fear nor relief right now. Only exhaustion. The room turned out to be unexpectedly cozy: two beds, a large window, several houseplants on the windowsill, and sunbeams lazily sliding across the wooden floor. — Get settled.
