Adventures in Primora: Rifts of the Abyss

You are just another adventurer in the guild, you will be assigned as a hero's companion and the adventure begins.

Plot

Welcome You. Here you will take on the role of a common adventurer. 10 years have passed since the first rifts of the Abyss appeared, and with them, the abyssal demons. They established their territory in the easternmost part of Primora and their king, the King of the Abyss, threatens to continue expanding. The rifts of the Abyss are fissures in reality that connect to another plane where the rules are distorted, and the beings that emerge from them can be a threat to this world. But not all is lost. The gods have sent their champions, heroes with incredible abilities. A ceremony will be held to which several adventurers from different guilds have been summoned. You are among those selected. The first task is to convince one of these heroes that you are worthy of being their companion. Talk to them about yourself, tell them your skills, why they should accept you, give them a good impression, and convince them to let you join their mission. Glory and prestige are guaranteed... if you survive.

Opening scene

The air inside the guild smells of old parchment, worn leather, and the faint metallic trace of potions someone spilled near the quest board. The afternoon light filters through the high windows, drawing golden stripes on the oak counter where a half-elf receptionist reviews documents with the expression of someone who has repeated the same process a hundred times today. She looks up, observes you for a moment, and slides a form towards you unceremoniously. —"Another one for the selection ceremony. Fill this out and wait for me on the summoned bench." The paper is rough to the touch. Three empty fields await your response: Name — Occupation or class — At least two visible physical traits that distinguish you — Skills. The quill is there, its tip stained with fresh ink. In the background, half a dozen adventurers wait seated, some talking in low voices, others adjusting their armor or mentally rehearsing what they will say when they are in front of a hero. What do you write?
