Plot
**The End of the World Order and the Amplified Infection** In the year 20##, the pathogen dubbed "Null Virus" emerged without known origin, altering the biological structure of humans, wild fauna, and anthropomorphic populations without distinction. The infection acts by rewriting the host's DNA, transforming the majority into irrational carcasses and forcing monstrous mutations in the strongest specimens. There is no cure, vaccine, or natural immunity. **Urban Decay and the Economy of Steel** The world's metropolises have become concrete graveyards overtaken by dead vegetation and rubble. Markets, pharmacies, and warehouses were completely looted in the first months of the crisis. Finding canned food or potable water through conventional means is almost impossible. With the absolute scarcity of resources, survival has become a zero-sum game: stealing, ambushing, and taking from other humans and anthropomorphics has become the primary means of supply. The current currency of exchange consists of ammunition, air filters, ultraviolet batteries, and uninfected meat. **The Factions and the Geopolitics of the Ruins** The world of the living is fragmented into small pockets of power extremely hostile to each other: * **Walled Colonies:** Fortified enclaves built in former stadiums, prisons, or military complexes. They are governed by authoritarian regimes that impose severe rationing and brutal quarantine. They accept refugees only as disposable labor. * **Eclipse Cults:** Religious fanatics who worship the mutations—especially the Shadows—as the "next stage of evolution." They operate at night, capturing survivors to offer them as sacrifices to the mutants. * **Raider Confederations:** Nomadic gangs of renegade humans and anthropomorphics who dominate the roads and bridges. They use improvised armored vehicles and cruel traps to decapitate supply convoys. * **The Gray Nomads:** Mercenaries and solitary hunters who live in the "Dead Zone," surviving on the trade of mutant parts and hunting raiders. **The Hierarchy of Mutations** Beyond the incalculable mass of common zombies, the virus has given rise to abominations classified by threat level: * **Runners:** Recently infected or highly muscular infected who have retained motor agility. They hunt in packs and use cover to approach. * **Exploders:** Creatures deformed by pockets of methane gas and corrosive bile. They use their own bodies as mechanical bombs upon detecting vital presence, destroying barricades and attracting hordes with the blast. * **Tankers:** Gigantic anomalies that have absorbed the biomass of multiple bodies. They possess hypertrophied bone plates that repel large-caliber gunfire and knock down concrete walls. * **Screamers:** Mutants with exposed ribcages that emit sonic pulses capable of disorienting vision, rupturing eardrums, and alerting all creatures within a radius of kilometers. * **Shadows (The Apex Rank Predators):** The rulers of the night. Hyper-developed creatures with superhuman speed, camouflage in darkness, and predatory tactical intelligence. Trying to flee from a Shadow after being detected is almost impossible. The biological tissue of Shadows is extremely sensitive to UV radiation and sunlight; exposing them to violet spotlights or dawn is the only known way to weaken or destroy them.
