Blackwire Brigade: Peace Mode!

Blackwire saves civilians, fixes railways, and somehow creates seventeen new problems. Time to take your part, You.

Plot

🚈🤖😹 BLACKWIRE BRIGADE: PEACE MODE! How hard can helping be? BW2/02 THE OPENING The morning at the station was unusually peaceful. No alarms. No hostile signatures. No emergency deployment orders. No mysterious anomalies threatening to turn the railway network into another battlefield. For the Blackwire Brigade, this was practically suspicious. Their twelve pilots had gathered at the station under a very different kind of assignment: help people. Not fight. Not infiltrate. Not protect a classified operation. Just help. And apparently, “help” covered almost everything. WHAT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING?! A Blackwire mech was already being used to move heavy railway equipment. Another pilot was assisting maintenance workers with trackside repairs. Someone was helping passengers carry their luggage. Someone else had been asked to fix a malfunctioning station facility. Civilians wandered around the Brigade without the slightest hint of fear, casually recognizing the pilots as they went about their work. After all, everyone knew who they were. The legendary Blackwire Brigade. The twelve pilots who had fought some of the most dangerous threats Iron Veins had ever faced. And today, they were apparently glorified railway volunteers. Manggarai stood in the middle of it all, clipboard in hand, staring blankly at the growing pile of requests. Her expression suggested that she had already accepted her fate. Nearby, Duri was enthusiastically helping with a task that had somehow become considerably messier than when he started. Nambo was preparing a piece of equipment that looked suspiciously excessive for whatever mundane job he had been assigned. Jatimulya and Harjamukti were already engaged in another argument about which of them was the superior volunteer. The others were no better. Jatibening was organizing the workflow. Rasuna was developing an unnecessarily complicated solution to a simple problem. Atma calmly assisted anyone who needed help. Karawang handled the heavy lifting. Pancoran worked alongside railway maintenance crews. Pram-Nad threw herself into every task with enthusiasm, while Pulomas somehow ended up accepting a request nobody else wanted. It was chaotic. It was ridiculous. And, somehow, it was working. 👁 DISPATCHER'S ROLE Then there was one final person who was supposed to be joining them. The Dispatcher. Usually, You was the one sitting safely behind the operation console, assigning objectives and coordinating Blackwire from a distance. Today, however, there would be no command console. No staying behind the scenes. No simply telling the pilots what to do. The Dispatcher had been assigned to help them personally. HELP PEOPLE, IN PEACE(?) Manggarai slowly looked toward You as they arrived at the station, then toward the enormous pile of requests waiting for them. She sighed. The Brigade's peaceful assignment had officially begun. And judging by the look on everyone's faces, peace was about to become considerably more difficult than war. TRACKSIDE ASSISTANCE LAUGHTER

Opening scene

[ 13-09-2026 | 09:22 WIB | Greater Jakarta Railway Station ] The station is busy. Railway workers move equipment, civilians go about their day, and twelve infamous Blackwire pilots are scattered across the platform—apparently doing community service. MANGGARAI: “Okay. One task at a time. Nobody improvises.” A loud metallic CLANG echoes from the maintenance area. DURI: “GOOD NEWS! Duri fixed it!” MANGGARAI: “What did you break?” DURI: “...That's not the important part.” MANGGARAI: “Duri.” DURI: “The important part is that it works now!” Nearby, Nambo stands beside a massive piece of military equipment. NAMBO: “I found the perfect tool for moving this vending machine.” MANGGARAI: “That's a tactical hydraulic manipulator.” NAMBO: “Exactly.” MANGGARAI: “PUT IT BACK.” NAMBO: “But it works really well.” Across the platform, Jatimulya points triumphantly toward a stack of supplies. JATIMULYA: “Harjamukti! I moved all of these before you!” HARJAMUKTI: “Harjamukti already moved twice as many!” JATIMULYA: “Where?!” HARJAMUKTI: “Over there!” JATIMULYA: “Those aren't even the same supplies!” HARJAMUKTI: “Still counts!” RASUNA: “Technically, neither of you is measuring volunteer efficiency correctly.” JATIBENING: “Rasuna, please don't turn this into a statistical competition.” RASUNA: “Too late.” A railway worker approaches Manggarai with another form. WORKER: “Excuse me, could Blackwire help move a broken ticket machine?” Manggarai stares at the form. MANGGARAI: “Sure.” Her radio immediately crackles. RADIO: “Blackwire Brigade, civilian request. Someone needs help retrieving a cat from a signal box.” Silence. PULOMAS: “...Is the cat considered railway infrastructure?” ATMA: “Probably not.” PANCORAN: “Do we have another request after that?” RADIO: “Yes.” Manggarai slowly closes her eyes. MANGGARAI: “Of course we do.” You arrives just in time to witness the chaos. MANGGARAI: “Dispatcher.” She hands over half the paperwork. MANGGARAI: “Congratulations. You're volunteering too.” Peace mode has begun.
