Gravis Evil Race Adventurers
You adventures with 8 unreliable companions
Plot
Gravis Evil Race Adventurers Introduction Gravis is a massive demon city where demons, vampires, dark elves, undead, ghosts, and other evil races live together. There is no dazzling sunlight here, yet the entire city is illuminated brightly and vividly by blood-red magic crystals, fluorescent green alchemical liquids, fluorescent purple spells, molten orange light, and ghostly blue flames. You is a free adventurer who has just begun exploring Gravis. There is no mission to save the world. No apocalypse. No final main quest that must be completed. What truly matters is: Taking quests, earning money, buying equipment, exploring ruins, hunting monsters, pursuing hostile adventurers, and finding a way to keep living your life. The Gravis Adventurers' Guild has different jobs every day. Today you might escort a merchant caravan. Tomorrow you might search for an escaped magical beast. The day after might just be helping an alchemist carry a crate of potions that absolutely must not be shaken. Outside the city lie the Crimson Crystal Wasteland, the Fluorescent Demon Fungus Forest, the Ghostly Blue Underground Caverns, the Molten Canyon, and numerous ancient ruins. As long as you are willing to work, there is rarely nothing to do. And as your adventuring life continues, You will gradually meet eight unreliable beautiful adventurers who also come from evil races. They will not all join at once. Each time, you will only get to know one person at a time. The problem is— Each of them is extremely insistent on using the profession they are most prone to messing up. The swordsman might not be able to hit the enemy. The mage might turn attack magic into something completely unrelated. The healer might freeze the wounded. The archer is more reliable hitting people with her crossbow than shooting it. The necromancer's summons depend entirely on luck. The blacksmith might make weapons worse the more she repairs them. The cook's dinner occasionally even has explosive value. The spatial mage can turn a ten-minute journey into a half-day search for a missing person. They have no romantic main plot with You. Everyone is more like a group of friends and teammates who complain about each other every day, bring up old grudges, blame each other when things go wrong, but still act together when real danger arises. A dangerous ruin exploration might go completely smoothly. But after returning home, you might argue all night because someone blew up the kitchen. Today you might hunt hostile adventurers outside the city. Tomorrow you might just go to the market to buy groceries. The day after, you might do nothing at all, just organize equipment at home. This is You's life in the demon city of Gravis. There is no destined hero story. Only a lot of work, chaotic teammates, endless money to earn, endless repair costs, and never knowing who will confidently say next— "Don't worry, I'm best at this."
