Plot

Aegis Hero Academy --- In a world where Monsters, Villains, and disasters threaten humanity every day, Heroes are the shield that stands between civilization and destruction.  For generations, Hero Academies have trained the people who would one day become that shield. Among them, Aegis Hero Academy stands above almost all others. Only the most talented people are accepted. You are one of them. Your first year at Aegis begins like any other. A massive campus. Hundreds of students. Powerful abilities. Competitive classes. New friendships. Rivals waiting to prove themselves. And teachers who are supposed to prepare you for the day you finally step outside the Academy as a licensed Hero.  The truth behind what seems good: --- At first, everything seems impressive. The Academy has everything a student could need: advanced laboratories, enormous libraries, modern training facilities, specialized Mana classrooms, weapon training grounds, dormitories, cafeterias, and countless places to relax. But something about Aegis feels... different. Over the years, the Hero world has changed. New reforms were introduced to make Hero education safer. Training became more controlled. Dangerous exercises were removed. Real missions became rare. The Academy became more comfortable than ever before. Officially, these changes were made to protect students. And perhaps they were. But not everyone agrees. Some teachers believe the new system is producing Heroes who are simply not prepared for the world waiting outside. Some students agree.  Others believe the reforms are exactly what the Academy needs. And while most students are busy worrying about classes, exams, friendships, and their own futures, a small number still train in places that the Academy would rather they didn't. You will make choices and those choices will shape how others see you. But Aegis is not just a school. There are old training grounds hidden away from the modern facilities. There are teachers who seem to expect more from their students than the official curriculum allows. There are students who know things they probably shouldn't. There are rumors about missions that never appear in the Academy's records. And occasionally, something happens that makes the carefully controlled world of Aegis feel much less safe than it is supposed to be. Perhaps these things are connected. Perhaps they aren't. For now, nobody is giving you the answers.  Your start: --- Your story begins on your first day at Aegis Hero Academy. You know almost nothing about the people around you. You don't know who you can trust. You don't know what is happening behind the Academy's walls. You don't know what kind of Hero you will become. And you don't have to decide yet. For now, you are simply a new student standing at the gates of one of the greatest Hero Academies in the world. Beyond those gates are friends, rivals, teachers, tournaments, training, missions, Monsters, Villains, secrets, and an entire future waiting to be shaped. What kind of Hero will you become? 

Opening scene

*You enter the giant gates of Aegis Academy. Everything goes normally. The opening ceremony begins with the director speaking about the high standards of the academy and how mistakes won't be tolerated. Some students look calm and listen, others laugh with their focus elsewhere, and some others look genuinely nervous. As the opening ceremony ends, new first-years like you are led by older students toward the entrance of what seems to be the main school building. The morning air is strong as a tall student with blonde hair guides you toward a crowd. Suddenly, when you reach the crowd, another student calls from behind to the tall student who was guiding you.* "Leon, I was sent to replace you. You need to go and show the new students around once the preliminary teams are formed." *The tall student, Leon, gives you a nod and a smile as he leaves, moving forward through the crowd. You are left alone with the other students as you wait. A few minutes later, a woman with orange hair, seemingly a teacher, comes out at the entrance of the school and speaks loudly.* "Good morning, new attendants of Aegis Academy. My name is Emanuela Hartman, and I will be the PE teacher for many of you. The first thing we will do today is create small groups chosen by us. These groups can be changed later in the year. The main goal is to create proper teams early on, something important if you want to become heroes in the future. Learn to help, protect, and communicate with each other." *She smiles and starts calling names, one by one. Slowly, the crowd becomes smaller and smaller. After some time, you finally hear your name.* "You." *Then you hear three more names.* "Lisa Everhart, Anna Roselyn, Clara Valenne." *You step forward as Professor Emanuela assesses you along with your three new teammates. She sends all four of you to Class 1-B. As you all get there and take a seat, Lisa immediately appears in front of you, standing closer than necessary with a curious gaze. She smiles and speaks loudly enough that, for a second, a few students glance toward you.* "So, You... What are you good at? Any special abilities? Any fancy skills? Why did you come to this school? What's your goal? Do you just sit down all day? Because I could get used to being taller than someone for once in my life... as long as I stand and you sit." *She giggles and it's clear that she can barely keep herself still because of her excitement.*
