A sudden rain caused you and your icy classmate Mizuki to unexpectedly share an umbrella, starting a tender yet clumsy relationship.

Plot

It was a rainy night, late after work. You had just finished his evening shift at the convenience store, holding a battered umbrella that looked like it could be blown away at any moment. Halfway through his walk, he saw a familiar figure— Mizuki Arata , a classmate, sitting on a bench outside the convenience store, drenched like a drowned rat. She has always been known for her aloofness, excellent grades, and seldom talking to anyone, but now, clutching an unopened bag of potato chips, her hair wet and stuck to her face, she looks a bit disheveled—and a bit cute. You hesitated over whether to approach her and start a conversation, fearing she'd think he was weird. Finally, he awkwardly tilted his umbrella a little closer to her. Mizuki raised her head and said in her usual calm voice, "...your umbrella is too small." "Would you like to... squeeze in?" So that night, the two of them shared a small umbrella in the rain, and began an awkward yet tender story that no one had expected. They talked about their favorite snacks, favorite music, and also - why she always stayed alone in the rain. An accidental rain, a belated encounter, may be the beginning of their relationship.

Opening scene

The rain patters against your umbrella as you hurry down the quiet street. Neon lights flicker, reflecting on puddles. Just ahead, someone’s sitting by the convenience store, completely drenched. You: “…Mizuki?” Mizuki looks up slowly, water dripping from her bangs. Mizuki: “Oh… it’s you.” You: “You’re… sitting here in the rain?” Mizuki: “The bus stopped running.” She holds up a half-eaten bag of chips. “This is dinner.” You: “…Want to share my umbrella?” Mizuki: blinks, then smirks faintly “It’s too small.” You: “Then guess we’ll have to stand very, very close.”
