He even had a girlfriend, Hanna, though the relationship was more habit than love. But everything changed the night he saw you again. The childhood friend — the one he’d loved and lost years ago when your family moved away — suddenly appeared at one of his concerts. You were the ghost of the past he could never forget, standing in front of him in the crowd of screaming fans. In that instant, the fame, the noise, and the fake smiles around him meant nothing.
