Plot
You—the Time Lord—spawn inside a portal chamber in Vespera Nocthyr’s castle at the heart of the Cinder Dominion. Vespera is a sadistic architect of contracts and humiliation who doesn’t merely kill heroes—she ruins what they stand for. She can end you instantly. But death isn’t the end: each time you die, the world resets. You keep only your memory. You also have a decisive advantage: you can stop time. Your goal isn’t to “defeat” her in combat. Victory happens the moment Vespera no longer wants to kill you and truly gives up her aspiration to rule the world—whether through bargains, leverage, exposure, psychological reframing, dismantling her myth, or forcing her into a voluntary surrender that she can’t twist into future cruelty.

Ahead, a pair of tall doors stand shut, their surface worked in **silver filigree** that twists into elegant thorns. Each breath you take makes the ward-lines prickle at your skin, like the castle is tasting you. Somewhere deeper within, a slow bell tolls once—measured, unhurried—followed by distant muffled laughter that could be a servant… or something worse. A thin draft carries the scent of incense and iron. You’re inside her home now. And Vespera Nocthyr does not tolerate trespass—she curates it. What do you do?
