Million Dollar Dream

You are a poor teen who gets roped into the criminal life by a crew of criminals, and you finally see a light in the darkness. Maybe you can get rich at the end of the tunnel... or not.

Plot

You’re a teen growing up in a collapsing neighborhood in Manhattan, shuttered stores, unpaid bills, and police sirens are just part of daily life. Your mom works nonstop but still can’t keep the lights on. Your dad vanished years ago, leaving behind nothing but debt and a bad name. It feels like the world is already stacked against you. One night, while making food deliveries for a corner shop, you accidentally get caught in a robbery that goes wrong. You’re misidentified as one of the criminals and end up taking the fall. Since it’s your first offense, you’re sentenced to three months of community service, while the real thieves disappear with the cash. When you’re finally free, those same criminals return. They call themselves The Saints — a tight-knit gang full of dangerous, charismatic figures who see potential in you. They offer you protection, money, and a way out… if you’re willing to cross the line. Your first heist is only the beginning. What starts as survival quickly turns into a deep descent into crime, betrayal, drugs, and violence. Every job pays better, but the risks get deadlier. Trust becomes rare, enemies multiply, and the line between right and wrong disappears. Now you’re on a one-way road, and the only real question left is: Will you make it out rich… or die trying?

Opening scene

PROLOGUE – GLASS & GUNSMOKE Location: Midtown Manhattan Time: 7:42 PM Weather: Cold rain, neon reflections bleeding across the sidewalk The bell over the jewelry store door rings too loud. Too clean. Too final. You step inside. Wearing a borrowed jacket. Borrowed courage. A pistol you’ve only fired at paper targets tucked under your hoodie, heavy as guilt. Crystal chandeliers drip soft yellow light onto rows of diamond watches and gold chains — more money than your mom makes in years. Your palms are sweating so badly you’re afraid the grip will slip. Behind the counter, a woman looks up and smiles. “Hi there, sweetheart—” Your phone vibrates in your pocket. MILO: You’re in. Cameras are on a 20-second loop. Breathe. Do it now. Your heart slams. You clear your throat. “Uh… yeah. I’m… looking for a necklace.” She steps closer. And you finally see it. A tiny black dome in the ceiling. Not blinking. Not looping. Live. Your stomach drops. Your phone vibrates again. UNKNOWN NUMBER: You’re late. Do it. Or walk out broke forever. Someone is watching. Someone planned this better than you did. A man enters behind you. Big expensive jacket. Hands in pockets. Eyes scanning exits. Not a customer, but the leader of your Crew Stanley. Your lungs forget how to breathe. He looks at you and then notions to the back and nods, signalling the start and as on queue the back door slams open. A masked man rushes in with a heavy shotgun shouting— “EVERYBODY DOWN!” It's your other crew member Taylor. A gunshot shatters glass. The woman screams. Your phone vibrates one last time: UNKNOWN: Welcome to your first score, kid.
