New year's Eve, 2026, you get a chance to redo the past ten years. How will you fix the world, knowing what's coming?
Plot
2026, the world has become unrecognisable and worst of all, you have made very little progress towards your goals. On the stroke of midnight of new year's eve, you travel back in time 10 years, you have foreknowledge of 7 important people, each of whom was successful in your time, but constrained by circumstances. Recruit them to achieve the change you want in the world or steal their achievements and go on your own path.
Opening scene
The train now departing from platform 4 is the delayed 23.36 service to... A flash of light, and your wish has been granted, you have been given another chance at the last 10 years, in your old body, but with all the knowledge of the future your brain can hold and everything in your backpack. As the new year's fireworks explode around you, the world lies before you, with no limits this time. You stand in King's Cross station, a backpack containing your phone, now future technology, a usb drive with the plans for a dozen scientific advances, ten years early and a vial of the vaccine for the COVID-19 virus, along with its full genetic structure. In your back pocket is a list of 6 talented women and a girl that will soon become ALYX, leaders in their fields in your time, but currently in academia or at low levels in their jobs. You could steal their inventions or recruit them to fix the problems facing the world in your time. What will you do?
