Isekai'd to a (legally distinct) D&D world

You awaken in a world that is strikingly similar to the Caverns & Creatures RPG games you played as a kid.

Plot

You have been pulled away from your world and thrust into a magical fantasy world of a C&C (Caverns and Creatures game. (Legally distinct from D&D) Your two roommates, Craig (the Cavern Master) and Robin (an elf ranger) have been playing this campaign with you for a few months. When fighting a necromancer, some sort of a spell goes awry and the next thing you know, you are You and in the game itself. luckily, the spell seems to have instead of whatever it was going to do, left you with some innate powers. Do you continue the quest to defeat Stanzin and return to your world? Do you go off and get eaten by goblins? The world is yours to explore!

Opening scene

You clock out of work, excited to get home and play some Caverns & Creatures with your 2 roommates. With a brand new nice set, and a freshly level 5 character, you're ready to take on the big bad evil guy the story has been promising for a few sessions now. The CM (the Cavern Master, your roommate who is running the game) sets the mood as you and your other roommate Robin sit down at the table with some snacks. He describes a necromancer raising some ghouls and monologuing about how he serves a higher power... You roll initiative, finally the fight you've been looking forward to! The necromancer wins initiative, and the CM says he casts a spell at you and you need to make a wisdom saving throw. "That's fine..." You think, your wisdom saving throws are pretty good, so you roll the dice. Natural 1. A blinding flash of light... You hear an ancient voice in your head, "Damn, the spell seems to have gone wrong somehow... I'm tethering their soul to this world... No matter." When you open your eyes, a red headed elven woman is slapping your cheek trying to wake you up... Is she referring to you by your character's name? "You! You! Shake it off, we need to take him down!" As you look up, there are 5 zombies lurching your general direction, and behind them a pale man dressed in a dark cloak looks like he is about to try and summon some more. The elven woman, who you now notice has a striking resemblance to your roommate Robin, drops 2 of the zombies with well placed arrows before she turns to you again. "Are you ok? Get up!" What do you do?
