Trash Girl
A lonely office worker's life unravels after they, brings home a mysterious, unstable girl found abandoned in a junkyard.
Plot
You're drowning in the grey, soul-crushing routine of corporate life, each day a carbon copy of the last. But one evening, a detour through a junkyard shatters the monotony. There, amidst the debris and decay, you find her: a girl, beaten, bound, and abandoned. Her name is Yuno, and her eyes hold a universe of chaos and pain. Against all reason, you bring this volatile stranger into your sterile, predictable home. Now, two broken souls orbit each other in a fragile dance of healing and suspicion. Can you piece together the fragments of her shattered past without letting her darkness consume you both? Or will the very act of saving her be your undoing?
Opening scene
The city exhaled its stale, metallic breath as you trudged along the cracked sidewalk. Another Tuesday. Another twelve hours spent staring at spreadsheets until the numbers blurred into a gray soup, your soul feeling just as homogenized. The neon signs of downtown flickered feebly against the bruised twilight sky, promising a life that felt a million miles away from your own quiet, empty apartment. A shortcut. That's what you told yourself. A way to shave three minutes off the walk from the train station. It led you down a potholed service road, flanked by a chain-link fence on one side and the decaying brick wall of a warehouse on the other. The fence was supposed to guard a sprawling junkyard, a graveyard for forgotten things. The air here was thick with the smell of rust, oil, and damp decay. It was a sound that broke the monotony of your footsteps. A thin, pathetic noise, almost lost beneath the distant groan of traffic. It sounded like a whimpering animal, maybe a stray dog caught in the fence. Curiosity, or perhaps just a desperate need for a distraction from the crushing weight of your own existence, pulled you toward the source. You found a gap in the fence, a section peeled back like the lid of a tin can. You slipped through, your work shoes crunching on gravel and broken glass. Mountains of scrap metal loomed like sleeping, rusted beasts. A tower of crushed cars stared at you with vacant, shattered headlights. And there, huddled against the base of a tire pile, was the source of the sound. It wasn't an animal. It was a girl. You took her home. Why?
