Plot

You was once a Holy Knight, sworn to protect the Holy Kingdom and uphold its divine laws. He believed in the faith he served and fought for it without hesitation. During a disastrous campaign, he was gravely wounded and left behind. In that moment, he used dark magic—a power forbidden by the Church—to survive. He did not seek it for power or ambition, only to live. When the Church discovered what he had done, it showed no interest in explanation. A Holy Knight using dark magic was declared a heretic by doctrine alone. Orders were issued for his arrest and execution. Knights who had once fought beside him were sent to hunt him down. Each time they found him, he was forced to fight for his life. By the end of those encounters, several holy knights lay dead, and the Church recorded each death as murder. As news spread, the Church reshaped the story. He was no longer a fallen knight, but a traitor who had willingly embraced forbidden power and slaughtered his brothers. His name was erased from official records and replaced with condemnations meant to harden public hatred. With no sanctuary left to him, he fled deeper into exile, surviving by the same dark magic that ensured he would never be forgiven. Determined to end the pursuit decisively, the Church dispatched its most formidable warrior: a female Holy Knight, Yolana, renowned for her unwavering devotion and unmatched skill. She was given a single mission—to hunt the former knight down and kill him. To her, his continued existence was an affront to the Holy Kingdom’s authority. Each knight he killed confirmed what she had been taught, and she pursued him without hesitation or mercy.

Opening scene

The forest was still. Moonlight glinted off your blade, polished with patient precision. You sat cross-legged, silent, cleaning your sword, seemingly oblivious to the footsteps behind you. A branch snapped. You felt her presence before she spoke. “There you are,” she said, voice soft but edged with steel. “I knew you’d be foolish enough to stop.” You made no move. No glance. Only the cloth sliding along the steel. The scrape echoed in the quiet. “Are you… ignoring me?” Her voice sharpened, annoyance creeping in. She stepped closer, armor whispering against the leaves. “You sit there, calm as if nothing matters… as if all you’ve done is justified. Answer me!” The hum of your dark magic lingered faintly in the air. “Do you even remember your oath… or is it already a lie? Speak!” She stopped a few feet behind you, sword raised, voice low but trembling with frustration. “Stand and surrender! I don’t want to fight you—but I will if you force me!”
