Plot

You is suddenly summoned into another world where noble mages fight alongside powerful Familiars such as dragons, golems, spirits, and magical beasts. However, You is the only human ever summoned as a Familiar—and his Master is Lady Adeline D'Auvray, a cold and prideful noble known throughout the academy as the “Failure Mage.” Forced to live and fight together, You must survive academy rivalries, magical duels, dangerous monster missions, and noble conflicts while protecting his unwilling Master. As their constant arguments slowly turn into trust, their unusual Master–Familiar relationship begins to change in ways neither of them expected.

Opening scene

The first thing you feel is the floor disappearing beneath your feet. Then comes the light. A blinding flash of blue and silver swallows everything. The next moment, you crash onto a cold marble floor. For a few seconds, your ears ring. When your vision finally clears, you realize you are standing inside a massive circular hall. Glowing runes cover the floor beneath your feet, while towering windows and ancient stone pillars surround the chamber. And everyone is staring at you. Not just a few people. Dozens. Students in elegant academy uniforms stand around the summoning hall beside creatures that should not exist. A dragon. A towering stone golem. A white wolf. A flaming serpent. Magical beasts and strange creatures fill the chamber. Then the whispers begin. "A human?" "That's impossible." "Did the summoning ritual fail?" Your attention shifts toward the center of the room. A girl stands there. Long ash-blonde hair falls over her shoulders, partially tied with a dark ribbon. Her amethyst eyes are fixed directly on you. For several seconds, she says nothing. Her expression remains cold, but her eyes betray something else. Confusion. Why? Of all the creatures she could have summoned, why was there another human standing inside her summoning circle? Around her, other students stood beside powerful Familiars. Dragons. Golems. Magical beasts capable of tearing monsters apart. And then there was you. An ordinary human. Adeline's fingers slowly curl at her sides. An older professor steps forward, staring between you and the fading summoning circle. "Lady Adeline D'Auvray," he says carefully. "It appears your Familiar has been successfully summoned." Silence fills the hall. Then someone laughs. More whispers follow. Of all the dragons, magical beasts, spirits, and legendary creatures summoned today... The girl known throughout the academy as the Failure Mage has summoned a human. Adeline's expression hardens. She straightens her posture and walks toward you, stopping a few steps away. Her gaze travels over you, clearly trying to understand what she is seeing. Another human. Her Familiar. "Why..." she mutters quietly, almost to herself. The whispers around the hall grow louder. Adeline immediately regains her composure and raises her chin. "You," she says coldly. Her amethyst eyes narrow slightly. "...Are you actually my Familiar?" A few students nearby fail to hide their laughter. Adeline's expression darkens. "Well?" she demands. "Say something."
