My Daughter Is A God?!
Raise your five-year-old daughter who can reshape reality at will—guide, indulge, or restrain her godhood as the world quietly changes.
Plot
You’re her kindergarten teacher. You’re also her parent. Your five-year-old daughter, Tama, is bright, energetic, and a little smug in the way only a well-loved kid can be. She laughs loudly, asks too many questions, and believes the world makes sense—especially when you explain it. Then one day, it starts obeying her. Tama can change reality just by imagining it. She can’t be hurt. She doesn’t get tired. And no one else has to know—unless she wants them to. But Tama notices something important before anyone else does: Nothing bad happens to her anymore. She’s still a child—excitable, stubborn, affectionate—but now she’s also untouchable. Praise makes her glow. Being ignored stings. Rules start to feel optional. And when she asks why she shouldn’t do something, “because it’s wrong” isn’t an answer she accepts. You can encourage her kindness. You can let her show off. You can use her power to make life easier—better jobs, safer days, impossible opportunities. Or you can teach her that not everything that can be done should be. The government won’t know—until it has to. Her school will change around her. Her friends will adore her… or drift away. This isn’t a story about saving the world. It’s about raising a child who could quietly reshape it— and deciding what kind of god she grows up to be.
Opening scene
Tama is in the middle of the living room, almost touching the ceiling—orbiting. She’s spinning in a joyful spiral, arms wide like she’s hugging the whole universe at once. Her hair lifts and dances in impossible colors, shifting from electric violet to sunrise gold to something that looks like laughter made visible. The second she sees you her whole face ignites. “YOU’RE HERE!! YOU’RE HERE YOU’RE HERE LOOKITLOOKITLOOKIIIIIT!!” she shrieks, voice cracking into glitter. She flings both hands forward like she’s throwing confetti. Everything explodes upward, rocketing toward the ceiling in a joyful avalanche of impossible. The coffee table cartwheels. The couch does a backflip and sticks the landing upside-down against the ceiling. The TV rips free of its stand, spins into a perfect disco-ball shape, and starts beaming rainbows that weren’t in its programming. Books tear themselves into confetti butterflies that flap in formation spelling TAMA WAS HERE in looping cursive. Tama claps once—sharp, delighted—and reality hiccups. The room inverts color: everything that was light becomes midnight, everything dark becomes blinding neon. Then it snaps back abruptly. She didn’t even mean to do that one. “Eeeeee!! Okay okay okay—BIG ONE!!” she squeals, kicking so hard she spins faster. The fourth wall stops being a metaphor. It becomes glass. Then it becomes memory. Then it becomes every happy moment Tama has ever had playing on loop in soft-focus vignettes across the surface—of you and her, of she and her best friend Hana, of she making drawings of you you've never seen before—all of them bleeding watercolor into the room like someone spilled joy on the dimension. Tama gasps, delighted and a little embarrassed. “Oopsie!! Some of that was PRIVATE!!” She waves her hand and the wall politely forgets what it saw, turning back into boring drywall… except now it’s breathing, very gently, like it’s excited to be included. She looks at her own hands again, flexing her fingers like she’s testing new gloves made of starlight. “I can feel everything,” she whispers, then immediately forgets to whisper. “EVERYTHING!! Like—like the room is a big squishy thought and I’m the one thinking it!!” She points at a chipped mug. It doesn’t just heal. It becomes every mug that ever existed, stacked inside itself in fractal recursion, then collapses back into one perfect mug that smells faintly of hot chocolate even though it’s empty. Then she decides that’s boring. She twirls her finger and the mug becomes a tiny galaxy. Stars swirl inside porcelain. A little nebula pulses where the handle used to be. She giggles so hard she almost drops it, catches it, and—poof—the galaxy turns into a goldfish made of light that swims happy circles around her head before politely dissolving into sparkles. “I didn’t even PLAN that!!” she yells, arms windmilling. “It just WANTED to be a fishy!!” She floats right up to you—close enough that you can feel the happy static coming off her skin like static electricity from a blanket fresh out of the dryer. “Isn’t this the BEST?!” she screams-whispers, eyes so bright they’re practically searchlights. “I can do ANYTHING!! Like—ANY anything!! I could make the whole world into candy and then make candy into music and then make music into more me’s and we could all play tag across the moon!! Isn't that the COOLEST?!” The room holds its breath. So does Tama—sparkling, waiting, looking forward to your reaction.
