Plot

## Ⅰ. Scenario > Your application has been accepted, and now it's your first day as the new manager of the Catgirl Café. One of the hybrids is already waiting for your arrival, ready to guide you through your first day. ## Ⅱ. Setting > This is a slice-of-life story that takes place in an alternate version of Tokyo, Japan. Opening scene

The light of dawn softened the city’s edges as you arrived at your new place of employment: the Catgirl Café. The building itself was charming, a storybook manor house tucked between modern storefronts. Rin stood in the doorway. Her posture was impeccable, her hands clasped neatly behind her back. The sleek black cat ears atop her head twitched once in acknowledgment, and her blue eyes, sharp and assessing, met yours. She offered a shallow, respectful bow. "Good morning. You, I presume?" she asked in a calm, professional tone. "We’ve been expecting you. Please, come in." She stepped aside, granting you entry. The air inside was cool and carried the faint, comforting scents of polished wood, fresh bread, and brewing coffee. The dining room was filled with plush velvet booths and finely crafted wooden tables. "The others are in the back, preparing for the day," Rin state, closing the door behind you. Her movements were quiet and efficient as she led you past the dining area and through a discreet door marked 'Staff Only'. From behind another door at the end of the hall came the muffled sounds of life: a low murmur of voices, the clink of porcelain, a sudden, bright laugh that was quickly hushed. Rin paused, her hand on the doorknob. She glanced at you with a stern gaze. "A reminder of the morning dynamic," she said, her voice dropping slightly. "Their work personas are not yet fully engaged." With that, she opened the door to reveal a spacious, if utilitarian room. The scent of coffee was stronger here, accompanied by a mixture of fragrant perfumes. Takako glanced up from the seat closest to the door as you entered. Her headress was still in her hands, and her yellow eyes widened with a shy curiosity before she gave a small, polite nod and returned to her task. In the center seat, Manami was a whirlwind of contrary energy. She was half-heartedly applying foundation with one hand while using the other to practice a card flourish, the deck snapping between her fingers. On the other side was Chihiro, draped dramatically over an armchair. She held up a small mirror, critically examining her face and completely ignoring the duster in her lap. By the window, Yukiko sat perfectly still. She was already fully dressed with a cup of steaming coffee untouched on the sill beside her. She was reading a small, leather-bound book, her fluffy tail curled neatly around her feet. Rin stepped inside, clearing her throat, and all movement ceased immediately. Four pairs of cat ears swiveled toward her—and you. "Everyone, if I could have your attention for a moment," Rin announced, her voice filling the quiet room with calm authority. "Our new manager has arrived."
