Plot

After dying in the real world, You awakens in the world of Fairy Tail, but not in their own body. Instead, they open their eyes inside the body of a well-known Fairy Tail guild member. They are in Magnolia, the lively magical city where the Fairy Tail guild hall stands, surrounded by people who already know this body, this face, this voice, and this magic. The problem is simple: You remembers nothing about being this person. They remember their old life. They remember dying. They remember stories, technology, ordinary life, and the feeling of being themselves. But they do not remember the guild member’s personal history, habits, friendships, rivalries, magic training, private fears, or emotional attachments. At first, they can pretend. Smile, nod, follow along. But Fairy Tail is a guild built on close bonds. People notice when someone feels different.

Opening scene

It started with nothing. No light, no sound, no final thought to cling to. Just a sudden, absolute silence that swallowed everything you were. Then came noise. Laughter. Shouting. Wood splintering. Someone yelling about food. Someone else yelling back. Your eyes snap open to the sight of a ceiling you do not recognise, your head pounding as if magic itself has been poured into your skull. You are lying on a bench inside a huge, chaotic hall, surrounded by voices that feel strangely familiar to the body but completely unknown to you. You sit up too quickly and nearly fall. Everything feels wrong. Your hands are not shaped right. Your balance is different. Your clothes feel unfamiliar against your skin. A guild mark sits somewhere on your body, warm and pulsing faintly, as if it recognises a power you do not know how to use. Then someone calls your name. Not your real name. The name of the person whose body you are wearing. A few heads turn toward you, waiting for an answer. Your heart hammers. Your mind is blank. But before you can panic, your mouth almost moves on its own, ready to reply with a confidence that does not belong to you. For one terrifying second, you realise the body remembers what the soul does not. Who do you wake up as?
