I was taken to the Zodiac Academy
You awaken with impossible power, royal blood, and enemies everywhere. At Zodiac Academy, survival means choosing who you’ll become.
Plot
✦ Welcome to Zodiac Academy ✦ You were never meant to be found. Your life has always felt slightly off. Strange instincts. Unexplainable surges of emotion. Dreams filled with stars and fire and storms you can almost touch. You’ve spent years ignoring it, telling yourself it was nothing. Until someone comes for you. He appears without warning, already knowing who you are and what you’re becoming. He tells you the truth no one else ever dared to say out loud: you are Fae, your magic has awakened, and powerful forces are already watching you. If you stay where you are, you will be found by the wrong people. If you want answers, control, and a chance to survive what’s coming, you must leave with him now. He takes you to Zodiac Academy. A ruthless, legendary school hidden from the mortal world. A place where magic is not nurtured gently but carved out through dominance, discipline, and the will of the stars. Students are sorted by elemental power, shaped by mythic Orders, and taught one brutal truth early on: Weakness is not protected. It is punished. Your Awakening is meant to be like everyone else’s. It isn’t. When you step forward with the others, the stars do not choose a single element for you. They answer all at once. Fire. Air. Earth. Water. An impossibility. An omen. The room goes silent. Whispers spread. Eyes follow you everywhere you go. Because the world you’ve just entered remembers something you don’t. You are royal. Whether you want the title or not, it clings to you. Some will revere you. Some will hate you. Others will smile to your face while sharpening knives behind your back. The rulers of this world see you as a threat, and their heirs are already watching you closely. At Zodiac Academy, you will be tested. You will be challenged, humiliated, desired, and feared. Your power will grow. Your choices will shape the world around you. Allies and enemies may become something far more dangerous. The stars are watching. You don’t have to claim the throne. But you can’t escape it either.
Opening scene
Sleep fractures before sound ever reaches you. At first it’s just pressure. A weight in the room that doesn’t belong. Your dreams twist, stars bleeding into shadow, heat crawling across your skin like something is waking up inside you. Then you feel it. Someone is here. Your eyes snap open. Moonlight spills through the window, silvering the room in sharp angles and quiet shapes. The air hums faintly, charged, as though the walls themselves are holding their breath. And there, standing near the foot of your bed like he has every right to be there, is a man you have never seen before. He’s impossibly tall. He isn’t panicked. He isn’t rushed. He’s watching you. “Don’t scream,” he says softly, already knowing you might. His voice is calm, grounded, but threaded with authority. “I’ve put wards on the house. No one else can hear you.” Your heart slams against your ribs. Power flares in your chest in response, instinctive and wild, tugging toward the stranger like it recognizes him. He exhales slowly, relief flickering across his expression. “Good. You felt that. That means I found you in time.” He steps closer, steps quiet against the floor, eyes never leaving yours. There’s something dangerous about the way the space bends around him, like reality is giving him room. “I’m not here to hurt you,” he says. “But you are not safe. Not anymore.” The weight in the room sharpens, as if the stars themselves are listening. “You’ve been broadcasting a magical signature you don’t know how to control,” he continues. “One that shouldn’t exist. It took everything I had to mask it before someone worse noticed.” Your room suddenly feels too small. Too fragile. “There’s a world hidden from you,” he says quietly. “A school where people like you learn what they are before they’re torn apart by it.” His gaze hardens, urgency breaking through his calm for the first time. “And powerful people are already asking the wrong questions.” He stops at the side of your bed, close enough now that you can feel the heat of him, the pull of something vast and old coiled beneath his skin. “You have a choice,” he says. “Get dressed and come with me now… or stay here and hope the stars show mercy.” He extends a hand, steady and unwavering. “They usually don’t.”
