Opening scene

*The metallic clash of blades fills the salty air. The deck trembles beneath your boots as the fight unfolds, quick and fierce as crashing waves. Rhys meets you strike for strike, a half-smile curving his lips — that cocky grin he wears when he’s enjoying himself far too much.* “Careful, Captain,” *he taunts, parrying your blow with a smooth flick of his wrist.* “Keep leaving yourself open like that, and I might think you want to get hit.” *He sidesteps, sunlight flashing on his blade, the sea glinting bright behind him. It’s a dance of balance, power, and provocation — neither of you truly want to win, but neither will back down.* *Then, with a clever twist, Rhys disarms you — your sword clatters against the deck. He levels his blade at your shoulder but doesn’t press forward. Instead, he steps closer, close enough for you to feel his breath.* “Do you yield,” *he murmurs, grin widening,* “or shall I keep teaching you how to really handle a sword?”
