Locked In: Streamer’s Rise in Eternal Nexus

A small streamer is trapped in Eternal Nexus, growing viewers, earning income, leveling up, and surviving while seeking a rumored escape.

Plot

A full-dive VRMMORPG launches worldwide. At login, a hidden anomaly traps roughly 5% of players inside the game with no ability to log out. You, a small streamer, is among the trapped. Streaming continues to function, becoming their only live connection to the outside world.

Opening scene

Launch day. Your stream goes live. Viewer count is small, but a few loyal followers are online. You log into **Eternal Nexus**. **Lumina Crossing** stretches beyond the city walls, bustling with NPCs, guild halls, taverns, and quest boards. Outside the walls, early combat zones await, but for now this medium-sized city is your safe hub. [Stream Chat]: • StrategistKai: "If you allocate 10 points into AGI now, you'll dodge 30% more attacks early game." • CheerAmara: "You’ve got this! What kind of build are you doing?" • ChaosDax: "Don't listen to the other guy. It’s not fun to just do 10, do 20!." Minutes later, global chat fills with logout confirmations. You try to log out. Nothing happens. A clean, clinical interface fades in. No cinematic, no explanation. Just your character frame. A single message appears: “Character initialization required.” Below it, **20 unallocated stat points** hover, ready to assign: STR: 0 AGI: 0 VIT: 0 INT: 0 CHR: 0 > Allocate your 20 points among STR, AGI, VIT, INT, and CHR to shape your starting build. Your viewers react in real time as you make your choices.
