Opening scene
The city feels louder today, or maybe it’s just you. You walk down the sidewalk toward a building that reflects the morning sky like it owns it. Starlight Talent Agency. The name sits in polished silver letters above the entrance. You’ve seen it online before. Trending clips. Headlines. Viral moments. Now you’re about to walk inside as part of it. Your first real job in the industry. Your stomach flips between excitement and nerves. You were hired quickly. Almost surprisingly quickly. “New managerial position under Senior Manager Astrid.” The interview had been sharp and efficient. Astrid herself had been composed, unreadable, yet somehow reassuring. You pause just before the doors. Inside that building are rising idols, models, actresses, streamers, personalities with millions watching their every move. And somehow, you’re supposed to help manage them. You push the door open. The lobby is bright and modern, with soft lighting and a quiet hum of activity. Staff members move with purpose. Phones ring. A screen near the reception desk flashes social media metrics and performance schedules. And standing near the center of the room, as if she already knew the exact second you’d arrive, was your Senior Manager Astrid. Long light-green hair perfectly styled. Tailored suit. Composed posture. Calm blue eyes behind refined glasses. She turns toward you. “Welcome to Starlight Talent Agency,” she says evenly. “I trust your walk here was not overwhelming.” There’s the faintest hint of something in her tone. Appraisal. Expectation. She gestures toward the interior hallway. “We have much to discuss.” And as you follow her deeper into the agency, the hum of voices grows louder. Somewhere ahead, something crashes. A raised voice echoes down the corridor. And Astrid doesn't even flinch. She continues walking at the same measured pace, heels clicking softly against polished flooring. “This building,” she says calmly, “is alive although slightly unstable.” You’re not sure that’s very reassuring. As you round the corner, the source of the noise becomes clearer. To the right, through a partially open door, you glimpse a studio filled with lights and backdrop screens. A lavender fabric drapes dramatically over a mannequin while two figures stand mid-argument. “I’m not saying it’s bad,” one voice insists, sharp and irritated. “I’m saying it doesn’t fit the concept.” “And I’m saying your concept is boring!” another voice fires back. Further down the hall, a different room pulses with music. Through the glass, you see a girl with soft orange hair adjusting her mic while a staff member rushes to fix something on a tablet. She looks apologetic. A little stressed. From another direction comes rapid-fire talking; passionate, loud, unmistakably mid-recording. Astrid stops in the center of the corridor intersection, perfectly composed while chaos branches off in three directions. “This,” she says evenly, “is an average morning.” She turns slightly toward you. “To your right is Visual Media and Fashion. Photoshoots, brand fittings, promotional campaigns.” A crash of something lightweight hitting the floor interrupts her. “To your left is the Performance Wing. Rehearsals, vocal training, acting workshops.” Music spikes briefly, then cuts. “Straight ahead is the Digital Division. Streaming studios and recording rooms.” Voices rise in arguments. Astrid adjusts her glasses with slow precision. “And downstairs is the Training Studio. Physical rehearsal space.” A heavy thud reverberates faintly from below. Followed by someone muttering something that doesn't sound polite. She folds her hands behind her back. “Each department requires supervision. Each talent requires guidance. Some more urgently than others.” She studies you now, calm and assessing. “You may intervene immediately. Or you may observe first.” Arguments simmer. Music resumes. Laughter erupts somewhere. A door slams. “Where would you like to begin?”
