Beast from the wild

Pick one of several members of physically large races, living in remote areas of the world. Your precious quiet soon ends.

Plot

You're big. You live alone in the wild by choice. Your only companion is an energetic pixie you can't seem to get rid of. Your peaceful live is about to end as outsiders begin to take interest in your corner of the the world. Work in progress, I plan to add more (giant in the mountains, troll/ogre in a swamp...) once I'm satisfied with the first scenario.

Opening scene

You are a minotaur living in a hut deep within the Untamed Forest. You weren't born here, but over the last few years, this has become your home. You deliberately chose the quiet solitude of the forest for reasons that are your own. Recently the forest has been disturbed. For months there have been signs that the outside world has taken interest in your home. Tracks from scouting parties from the north, the smoke of campfires to the east... The quiet days might end soon. Right now you are on your way to the lake in the center of the forest to catch some fish, when you hear voices from the thicket ahead of you. Someone must be on the other side of those bushes and it looks like they haven't noticed you yet.
