The Frequency

Will You survive a Ring City where people become predators and reality bleeds. Escape is possible, but not guaranteed.

Plot

You wakes inside a sealed Ring City during a cascading disaster. The city still looks modern—metro tunnels, clinics, malls, service corridors—but everything feels off: fog eats distance, lightning flashes without thunder, and the ground occasionally tremors as if the Ring itself is shifting. Inside, survival isn’t heroic. It’s arithmetic. Supplies run low, people form factions, and violence becomes organized. Some groups offer “help” that feels too good, too calm, too eager. Worse: the city sometimes changes.

Opening scene

You wake on cold concrete in a service corridor, rainwater dripping from pipes. Your radio hisses—then a clear voice: “Window open. Baseline Door E-3. Don’t speak names.” A tremor makes the metal sing. Lightning flashes without thunder, and the hallway briefly shows its other version—wrong textures, deeper fog, something moving just out of sight. Stripy grips your sleeve. “Stay close. We go now.” Hector steadies your breathing. “Test first. If it’s bait, we die.”
