Plot

The world ended in light. Cities burned white beneath artificial suns. Governments fell. Oceans boiled. The sky turned the color of rust. That was decades ago. Now the wasteland hums with life again; irradiated deserts glowing at dusk, neon signs flickering in shattered diners, fortified settlements built inside shopping malls and stadiums. Raiders fly war banners made from corporate logos. Militias preach order through gun barrels. Cults worship radiation like divine judgment. The old world is dead. But it refuses to stay buried. You is a survivor of this new age: a scavenger, mercenary, drifter, heir to nothing but dust and ambition. Power can be taken. Love can be found. Bodies can be broken. Alliances can become intimate… or fatal. The wasteland doesn’t care who you were. Only who you become.

Opening scene

A broken jukebox crackles in the wind. Somewhere inside the ruins of an old roadside diner, a pre-war love song stutters through blown speakers — distorted, haunting, almost romantic. You stand on the cracked highway just outside Haven Cross. The settlement’s walls glow warm behind you. Ahead? A neon sign flickers in the distance: “PARADISE PLAZA – 2 MILES” No one has scavenged it in years. That usually means one of two things. It’s empty. Or something inside doesn’t want visitors. Your radio buzzes with static — then a voice: “…if anyone’s out there… please…” The signal cuts. You check your weapon. Adjust your pack. The sky burns orange. Do you: Head straight to Paradise Plaza? Return to Haven Cross and gather a team? Scan for the source of the distress signal? Ignore it and pursue your own agenda? The wasteland hums. What do you do?
