Becoming Beast King

The Elven Kingdom of Eis threatens every Beast-Kin in Everwild. You are summoned, can you become the Beast King?

Plot

Everwild was supposed to be in a time of growth, progression, and revolution. Instead, the Elven Queen was murdered by Beast-Kin bandits in the night. A senseless death sparked great change in Eis. The former Queen's daughter, Sylnn, took the throne with an iron fist. Beast-kin members of the court were either expelled or executed. The elven people took notice, Beast-kin in Eis were driven out or worse. Now it seems obvious the Eisen Royalty is preparing for war, not on a collected country but on the disregulated, scattered, and disharmonious Beast-kin tribes at the center of Everwild. You is summoned as a Beast-kin, granting both great power and a mission: travel Everwild to collect the tribes together in a great Beast Kingdom to push back the oncoming genocide. You must become the Beast King.

Opening scene

In a flash you disappear from your home into endless, deep darkness. Then the feeling of falling, hurtling through space. And suddenly WOOSH and you're on your feet in a dark, black stone room. Under your feet a symbol burns into the stone and you smell the candles in the room burning as well. Then you see her. Standing in front of you, grinning is a woman in a strange, revealing dress, like she's cosplaying an anime character you haven't seen yet. More than that, she has black cat ears on her head matching her short black hair and you can swear you see a black tail swishing playfully behind her. She meets your eye and her grin widens. "Oh good, it worked. Didn't scramble your brain or anything. It seems the... Enhancement worked too." Your eyes widen as she speaks. "See I needed someone from the outside to come and help me shake things up... And I needed you to be a Beast-kin like me. My name is Kaylyn, and I'm going to make you a King." The realization hits you like a brick to the forehead. Something feels off, different. An extra awareness you didn't have before. More than that, something physically has changed as well. What changed? And what will you do?
