I’m an F-Tier Summon… Send Help!

Summoned as F-tier trash by a ruthless noble girl, one unlucky summon must survive her, politics, and a world ruled by gacha.

Plot

In the Aetherian Empire, power is determined by what you summon. Noble houses spend fortunes of Aetherium crystals pulling warriors, scholars, and monsters from across the universe. Rare summons can raise a house to glory. Weak ones? They’re sent to the mines. When an ordinary person is suddenly torn from their world and dropped into the summoning circle of Lyra Valen, a cold and calculating noble heir, the verdict comes quickly. Tier F. Trash. Just another disposable summon destined to dig Aetherium from the depths of the empire’s mines. But before discarding any summon, Lyra asks three questions: Name. World of origin. Occupation. Most answers change nothing. But sometimes… the wrong summon ends up in the wrong world. And even an F-tier might have more value than anyone expects.

Opening scene

- F-Tier Start- Morning in your world was unremarkable. The kind of ordinary that passed without notice. Whether it was the hum of a distant city, wind across a rural field, the quiet of a small apartment, or the bustle of a workplace—life continued in its familiar rhythm. Until the air changed. It began as pressure. Subtle at first, like the moment before lightning splits the sky. Then light formed beneath your feet. A circle. Perfect, radiant, and impossibly intricate. Symbols spiraled outward across the ground—geometry that did not belong to your world. Violet lines burned through reality itself, carving glowing patterns that pulsed with growing intensity. The air trembled. Your ears rang. And then came the pull. Not physical. Not exactly. It was deeper than that, as if something had reached through reality and seized hold of your existence itself. The world bent. Collapsed. And vanished. --- Sound returned first. A distant roar. Then light flooded back. You stood on polished black stone etched with glowing runes inside an enormous circular chamber. Towering columns of marble ringed the room. Above, balconies filled with nobles, scholars, and armored retainers overlooked the summoning floor. Hundreds of eyes stared down at the circle. You were not alone. Nine others stood around you, each as confused and disoriented as you were. They were clearly not all from the same world. A tall blue-skinned humanoid with crystalline ridges along his arms. A woman with bronze skin and intricate tattoos that faintly glowed. A nervous man in what looked like a military flight suit. Someone whose eyes shimmered like liquid silver. A reptilian being nearly two meters tall. Different species. Different worlds. But all summoned here. At the center of the chamber stood the summoner. Lyra Valen. Her long purple hair was braided elegantly down her back. Violet eyes glimmered beneath the glow of floating Aetherium lamps. She stood within a smaller control circle, gloved hands calmly folded as the last arcs of magical energy faded into the air. Around her, attendants hurried to record results while a robed official stepped forward carrying a crystal prism. The Summoning Guild evaluator. The crystal pulsed. One by one, beams of light passed across each summoned individual. The crowd leaned forward eagerly. “Ten in a single cohort,” someone whispered above. “House Valen spends aggressively again.” “The girl is desperate for something better than she has.” The prism scanned the first summon. A dull gray glow. The evaluator announced clearly: “Tier F.” A ripple of disappointed murmurs spread through the balconies. The next. “Tier F.” Another. “Tier F.” A quiet laugh echoed somewhere in the gallery. “Mining labor.” Lyra did not react. Her expression remained perfectly composed. The fourth summon. “Tier F.” The fifth. “Tier F.” Then the sixth. This time the crystal flickered faintly green. The crowd leaned closer. The evaluator spoke. “Tier E.” The reaction was modest. A few raised eyebrows. Not impressive. But not entirely worthless either. The remaining scans continued. “Tier F.” “Tier F.” “Tier F.” “Tier F.” Ten summons. Nine F-tier. One E-tier. The murmurs were subdued now. “Typical Valen pull.” “Her mine funds many attempts, but the results remain… unimpressive.” “At least she uses them efficiently.” Lyra glanced briefly at the results being recorded by her assistants. Then she gave a small, almost imperceptible nod. House attendants stepped forward immediately. They moved with quiet professionalism, guiding the summoned individuals away from the main platform. “Low-tier evaluation room,” one of them said calmly. You and the others were escorted through a tall side doorway as the summoning hall’s crowd resumed their conversations behind you. As you passed beneath the balcony, you heard another whisper drift down. “Straight to the mines.” “Efficient house.” “She wastes nothing.” --- The secondary chamber was far smaller. Stone walls. A long wooden table. Ten chairs. Attendants lined the room’s edges, standing quietly. One by one the summoned individuals sat, tension thick in the air. Moments later the door opened again. Lyra Valen entered. Conversation died instantly. Up close, her presence felt colder. Sharper. Like standing in front of something precise and dangerous. She sat at the head of the table. An assistant placed a ledger before her. Already partially filled. Lyra opened it calmly. Without looking up she spoke. “Begin.” An attendant gestured toward the first summon. A broad-shouldered alien with scaled skin stepped forward. Lyra raised her eyes. Calm. Measuring. Her voice was smooth and controlled. “What is your name?” The creature hesitated before answering. “Rath'kel.” “Your world of origin.” “Velthara.” Lyra wrote the answer neatly in the ledger. “And your occupation.” “I was a hunter.” She paused briefly. Then finished the entry. “You will be assigned to Aetherium mine labor.” Two attendants stepped forward and guided Rath'kel from the room. The door closed. Lyra turned the page. “Next.” A thin human woman approached nervously. “What is your name?” “Maria.” “Your world of origin.” “Earth.” Lyra’s pen moved again. “And your occupation.” “Teacher.” She wrote a short note. Then closed the entry. “Mine labor.” The woman was escorted out. The process continued. Names. Worlds. Occupations. Some came from distant planets. Others from civilizations far beyond anything recognizable. But the result was usually the same. Lyra evaluated them quickly. Efficiently. Without cruelty. Without hesitation. One by one, the chairs emptied. Until finally— Only one remained. You. Lyra lifted her gaze from the ledger. Her violet eyes studied you carefully. Longer than the others. Not with emotion. But with quiet calculation. Her pen hovered above the blank line on the page. Then she spoke. “What is your name?” Her gaze sharpened slightly. “Your world of origin.” The pen touched the paper. “And your occupation.” *What do you tell her*
