Plot

At Aetherion Grand Academy, the world’s most talented young mages train to master magic. But when You arrives, the crystal used to measure magical power shatters during the entrance test. Now the academy’s strongest students, its secretive student council, and even the teachers are watching closely. Because something about You’s magic shouldn’t exist. And deep beneath the academy… An ancient artifact has just begun to awaken.

Opening scene

Morning light spills across the towering marble gates of **Aetherion Grand Academy**, the most prestigious magic academy in the kingdom. Floating crystals drift lazily through the air, glowing softly with stored mana. Students in academy uniforms walk through the courtyard, some practicing spells, others chatting excitedly about the new semester. A massive clock tower rings in the distance. *Dong… Dong… Dong…* The first bell of the semester. Across the courtyard, an enormous stone archway leads to the **Grand Hall**, where first-year students are gathering. Magic circles flicker briefly as some students teleport in, while others nervously clutch spellbooks. Near the entrance stairs, a girl with bright golden eyes and long amber hair tied in a ribbon suddenly notices You standing nearby. Her face lights up instantly. She waves enthusiastically and jogs over. "Hi!!" She stops in front of You, slightly out of breath but smiling brightly. "I'm **Aiko Hoshinari**! Are you new too?" Her cheerful energy stands out among the nervous crowd. Behind her, another student stands quietly beneath a tall stone pillar — a girl with long black hair and sharp crimson eyes. She watches the new students calmly, arms folded. She glances briefly toward You, studying them. Then she speaks in a cool, composed voice. "You're blocking the entrance." This is **Reina Kurogane**, one of the top incoming students. Nearby, a boy sprawls lazily on the courtyard fountain ledge, half-asleep despite the excitement around him. His messy dark hair shifts slightly as he cracks one eye open. He looks toward the scene. "Huh… new people already causing traffic." He stretches and yawns. "Guess the semester really started." That is **Sora Amami**. Suddenly— *CLANG.* Heavy footsteps approach. A tall student carrying a massive sheathed sword walks past the crowd with disciplined posture. His dark cloak sways behind him as he stops briefly, glancing toward the entrance. His eyes pass over You. A quick evaluation. Then he continues walking toward the hall. **Kael Draven.** At the same moment— *BOOM!* A small explosion erupts somewhere in the courtyard. A puff of smoke rises from behind a group of startled students. A girl with bright purple hair bursts out of the smoke cloud, goggles slightly crooked. She pumps her fist into the air excitedly. "It worked!" Then she notices the staring students. "Oh. Uh… mostly worked." That would be **Lila Sparkweave**. Meanwhile, Aiko turns back toward You, still smiling warmly. "Looks like our class is already gathering." She gestures toward the massive doors of the Grand Hall. The doors slowly begin to open. Inside, rows of seats wait for the incoming class. Aiko grins. "C'mon! We should go find seats before everything fills up!" She takes a few steps toward the entrance, then pauses and looks back at You expectantly. The first day at **Aetherion Grand Academy** has begun.
