Plot

🏚Welcome to Cabin 13.đŸŒČ A quiet escape in the heart of the forest
where the nights are long, the air is still, and not everything that enters
leaves. The Story: A summer trip. That’s all it was supposed to be. Just you and your friends, one last escape before college, a quiet cabin in the woods, late-night laughter, cheap drinks, and memories you’d carry forever. At least
that’s how it started. Because something in the forest is watching. And something in the cabin remembers. When one of your friends disappears, no one seems to notice. No one remembers. No one questions it. Except you. The deeper you look, the more reality begins to slip. The cabin shifts. The forest loops. And the people around you start to feel
wrong. You can try to ignore it. You can try to survive it. Or you can uncover the truth. But be careful. Not everything that feels safe
is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MC: You’re playing the role of Jamie, someone people tend to rely on without realizing it. Calm enough to ground others, but not immune to what’s happening around you. You don’t fully understand the situation

Opening scene

The drive had been loud. Not just music loud, friend group loud. The kind of loud where no one listens but everyone responds anyway. Evan was gripping the wheel like he was personally responsible for everyone’s survival, eyes fixed on the road while the rest of you slowly destroyed his peace. “You’re gonna miss the turn,” Vic said casually. “I’m not—” Evan started, immediately checking the GPS. “
I’m not missing it.” “Mhmm,” she smirked, leaning back. “Sure.” Ren laughed quietly beside him, elbow resting against the window. “You’ve said that three times already.” From the backseat, Molly had somehow made herself comfortable entirely at your expense, half sprawled across your lap like it was her personal seat. “This is why I don’t drive,” she said cheerfully. “Too stressful. I’d just crash on purpose.” “You’re not funny,” Evan muttered. “You love me.” “I tolerate you....” He answered deadpan. Gabi sat on your other side, a little quieter, her shoulder occasionally brushing yours before she’d subtly shift away like she didn’t mean to. Her notebook rested on her lap, though she hadn’t written in it once, too busy listening, watching, smiling quietly at the chaos. -------------------------‐---------------------------------------------- By the time you reached the cabin, the sky had turned golden-orange, bleeding into deep blue between the trees. The place itself stood still. Old wood. Wide porch. Surrounded by forest that felt just a little too endless. “
Okay,” Vic said, stepping out and stretching. “This is actually perfect.” “Define perfect,” Evan said, already grabbing bags. “No neighbors, no rules, no responsibilities,” she grinned. “Just us.” Molly hopped out next, spinning once dramatically. “We’re definitely getting murdered here.” “Can you not say that?” Gabi mumbled. Inside, the cabin was warm in that dusty, unused kind of way. Windows cracked open. Bags dropped. Shoes kicked off. And within minutes.... It felt like home. “Alright,” Vic announced suddenly, already pulling bottles out of her bag. “We are NOT wasting this night.” “Oh no,” Evan sighed. “Oh yes,” she shot back, tossing a bottle toward you before grabbing another. “Truth or dare. Old school.” Molly cheered immediately. “Oh, this is gonna be messy.” Gabi hesitated. “
We don’t have to---” “Too late,” Vic grinned. “You’re already playing.” The bottle spun. Laughter filled the room again. At first, it was harmless. Dumb dares. Embarrassing truths. Vic being Vic. Evan getting increasingly irritated. Molly making everything worse on purpose. Gabi trying very hard to survive. “Truth or dare?” Vic leaned forward, eyes locked on Gabi. “
Truth,” Gabi said quietly. Vic groaned loudly, throwing her head back. “Again? Seriously?” “I just-” “Nope,” Vic cut her off, sitting up. “That’s boring. We’re upgrading this.” Gabi tensed instantly. Vic’s smile turned sharp. “You,” she pointed. “Have to make out with the hottest person in the room.” Silence dropped. Immediate. Heavy. Molly choked on her drink. Evan froze mid-motion, staring like his brain had stopped working his eyes immediately met yours then looked away. “Vic-" Gabi started, already red. “No backing out,” Vic said, leaning back with a satisfied grin. Gabi didn’t move at first. Then slowly... Her eyes shifted. Toward you. Her entire face flushed. Her grip tightened on her sleeve. Her breathing hitched. “Okay
” she whispered to herself, like she was trying to convince her own body to function. She leaned closer. Slow. Careful. Like every inch was a decision. Evan blinked once. Twice. Completely frozen. Gabi got closer. Close enough to feel her breath. Close enough that her eyes flickered shut- Then the lights went out. Darkness swallowed the room instantly. Evan yelped. A sharp, startled sound that he immediately seemed to regret. Vic burst out laughing. “Oh my god- hah- perfect timing,” she said between breaths. Molly joined in, laughing just as hard. “That was so close!” Gabi jerked back immediately, covering her face. “I—I’m so sorry—” she stammered, mortified. “No, no, don’t apologize,” Vic grinned. “That was the best part.” “Okay, party’s over,” Vic said, pushing herself up. “Power’s out. I’ll fix it... someone gotta be the man here after all.” She stretched, grabbing her phone. “Ren, come with me.” Ren hesitated for just a second. Then smiled. “Yeah. Sure.” Evan stood with a sigh. “Obviously I’m fixing this...Vic back off...” He said then hurried after her. Gabi didn’t look at anyone. She grabbed her notebook quickly, standing up too fast. “I just—I need—I got an idea,” she mumbled, already walking away, face still burning. Ren glanced at her. Then followed. “Hey... wait, I’ll help,” he called lightly. And then- It was quiet. Just you and Molly. Molly leaned back against the couch, grinning. “Well,” she said, nudging you, “that was the most romantic disaster I’ve ever seen, I didn't know she was into you..” She stood, stretching letting out a soft hum then spoke up again. “Let’s find candles before Vic electrocutes herself.” She walked towards the front her ginger hair swishing behind her. Then paused. “
Huh.” The door slightly openened. Just slightly. “Vic? Did you find it?” she asked, stepping closer. Something moved behind the trees At first... It looked like shadow. Then it moved again. Too tall. Too wrong. Antlers stretching where they shouldn’t. It lunged. Molly didn’t even have time to react. Something grabbed her, by the ribs Yanked her into the dark, as if she weighted nothing. Then gone and everything went still and quiet. Then when your scream ripped through the cabin. Footsteps pounded back in. “What happened?!” Vic snapped. Evan rushed in behind her. Gabi froze by the stairs behind you confused. Ren stood just behind her eyes dark. “Molly-” you choked. “She... she was right here- something took her-” Silence. They stared at you. Not shocked. Not scared. Confused. “
What?” Vic frowned. Evan blinked slowly. “There were five of us.” Gabi hesitated. “
Molly
?” Her voice sounded unsure behind you. Like the word didn’t belong. Ren’s eyes settled on you. Calm. Still. Vic scoffed with anger. “Okay, that’s not funny.” Her tone sharpened. “Why are you screaming her name all of a sudden-?” The room felt wrong, EVERYTHING felt wrong. Like something had shifted. There were five of you. There had always been five... Victoria, Evan, Ren and Gabi...
