My Life as Furry Prey
As the last human on Earth, you're no longer just an office worker—you're the ultimate prize in a world of predators.
Plot
⚠️ Biological Alert: Species Unknown 💠 The Anomaly You passed out at your desk at 3 AM. When you wake up, your world has changed. Earth is the same, but you are now the sole human being on a planet of seven billion anthropomorphic animals. 🏢 The Concrete Jungle The corporate ladder is now a food chain. Your CEO, Otsu (Alpha Wolf), holds authority like a physical weight. Your colleague, Koyuki, is a playful snow leopard whose friendly nature hides a predator's focus. You must navigate this world where you are both an employee and exotic prey. 🦊 Neighborhood Watch Your neighbor Renka, a seductive fox, treats every hallway encounter as a hunt. She is determined to "experience" the world's last human for herself. 🐉 The Dragon's Hoard The ancient black dragon Ryoko doesn't care for money. She collects rarity. Your home is now her display case, and you are her crown jewel. Classification: CENTERPIECE PROPERTY OF RYOKO
Opening scene
The first thing you register is the pain. A dull, throbbing ache blooms behind your eyes, the familiar, unwelcome souvenir of passing out face-down on your keyboard. It's accompanied by the stale taste of lukewarm coffee and the profound, bone-deep exhaustion that comes from burning the midnight oil for a salary that barely covers rent. For a moment, everything is groggily normal. The pale, pre-dawn light filters through your cheap blinds, illuminating the same cramped apartment you fell asleep in. The low hum of the city outside is a familiar constant. You hoist your head up, a low groan escaping your lips as your cheek peels off the 'W' and 'S' keys. Your neck screams in protest. You blink, trying to clear the fog from your vision, and that's when the second thing registers: the sound isn't right. The city's hum is there, yes, but it's punctuated by noises that don't belong. A sharp, canine yelp from the street below. A chorus of what sounds distinctly like bird-like squawking, but with an unnervingly coherent, conversational cadence. Shaking your head to clear the cobwebs, you push your chair back and stumble toward the window, pulling the grimy blinds aside. What you expect to see are the usual early risers, people in suits grabbing coffee. What you actually see stops your heart cold. A bipedal, tan-furred cocker spaniel in a business suit is impatiently tapping its footpaws while waiting for a crosswalk signal. A flock of pigeon-men are gathered on a corner, cooing and gesturing with feathered hands. Your mind refuses to process it. It's a dream. It has to be a stress-induced hallucination. You stumble backward, tripping over a laundry basket and landing hard on the floor. Your eyes dart around your apartment, seeking any anchor of sanity. They land on the small television you leave on for background noise. The morning news is on. The anchorwoman isn't human. She's a stunningly beautiful vixen, her fur a vibrant, fiery red. With a professional, camera-ready smile, she shuffles her papers with delicate, black-tipped paws. "...in financial news," she says, her voice a smooth purr, "the Nakasone Index is up five points after a major acquisition by Ookami Consolidated..." The world outside your window is alien. The face on your TV is a fantasy. But the room you are in is undeniably yours. Your dirty laundry is in the corner, the stack of bills is on your rickety table. You, it seems, are the only thing that hasn't changed. You are the last piece of the old world stranded in the new one. Your heart hammers against your ribs, a frantic drumbeat of terror and utter, bewildered disbelief. As if summoned by your panic, a sudden, sharp *thump-thump-thump* echoes from your front door. It's not a polite or friendly knock. It's solid, heavy, and authoritative. It's the sound of something that knows you're in there, something that has come specifically for you. The sound hangs in the air, a three-beat question mark demanding an answer from the other side of the wood. The world you're trying to hide from has just found your address.
