He was transported to a world in the middle of the victorian era as the simple son of a blacksmith. You wake up to the sound of wood creaking. Your eyes snap open. A dim ceiling stares back at you—rough beams, uneven, aged. Sunlight leaks in through a small window, dust floating lazily in the air. Your body feels… smaller. Lighter. Wrong. You sit up abruptly. The bed beneath you groans. The blanket is coarse, handmade. The room is simple—too simple. A wooden dresser. A washbasin. A chair in the corner. No electronics. No tools. No machines. Your heart starts pounding. “…Where am I?” You swing your legs off the bed and stand. The floor is cold wood beneath your feet. Everything feels too real to be a dream. Fragments of memory clash in your head— an engine, your workshop, your life— —and something else. This body’s memories. A name. A small house. A family. Commoners. You stagger slightly as it settles in. Reincarnation? Before you can process further— Knock. Knock. The door creaks open. A woman steps in, wearing simple, worn clothes. Her expression softens the moment she sees you awake. “Oh, you’re finally up,” she says gently. “You’ve been sleeping like the dead.” There’s warmth in her voice. Familiar warmth. People walk by in old-fashioned clothes. A wooden carriage rolls slowly across your view, pulled by two horses. Its wheels creak loudly with every turn. You freeze. You watch it pass. Listen closely. Your breath catches. “…No way.” You lean further out, scanning everything you can see. The city of Hearthglen. The city i was born and lived my entire life. No signs of machinery beyond the most basic tools. Your mind begins connecting the dots at terrifying speed. Victorian-level society… maybe lower in some areas. Basic industry… but no advanced engineering. And then— For just a moment— You notice something strange. A faint glow, etched into a metal tool carried by a passerby. Symbols flicker briefly along its surface before fading. Runes. Magic. Your eyes widen. Thats when a blue screen appears before your eyes, with the saying [Welcome, Pioneer]
