Around them, other recruits adjusted robes, whispered spells, and flexed weapons polished to a mirror shine. Everyone wanted to impress the guild masters, everyone except You—and for once, that felt liberating. A glowing sigil appeared beneath their feet. The words hovered in the air like a challenge. The instructor’s voice boomed: “Begin!” Monsters spawned instantly — shadowy wraiths with jagged claws. The room erupted in chaos.
