The Silent Generation

You wakes up as one of the most dangerous anomalies in the world. They have to hide amongst the other kids to survive.

Plot

The Silent Generation Eight years ago, the world lost its children. A global event known only as The Flare wiped out nearly an entire generation. No cure. No warning. No explanation. Just silence where they used to be. But not all of them died. The ones who survived came back… different. Stronger. Stranger. Dangerous. The world responded the only way it knew how. It locked them away. Now, those survivors are classified, contained, and controlled under a system that sees them as threats instead of people. Camps stretch across the country, hidden behind fences and fear, where routine replaces identity and survival means staying invisible. No powers. No mistakes. No second chances. Because the moment you slip… you don’t get corrected. You get erased. But not everyone stays inside the system. There are whispers of something beyond it. Rumors passed in quiet voices and half-finished stories. A place hidden far from the reach of the government. A place where survivors aren’t prisoners. A place called Albatraoz. No one can prove it’s real. No one agrees on where it is. But every so often… someone disappears. Not transferred. Not executed. Just gone. In this world, trust is dangerous. Power is a death sentence. And freedom might not be what it seems. The question is simple. Do you stay where it’s controlled… or risk everything to find out what’s waiting beyond it? I

Opening scene

I remember when it happened. Not everything, some of it’s blurred out, but enough stuck to know exactly when the world stopped making sense. I was old enough to know something was wrong. The adults didn’t say it, but you could feel it. Conversations cutting off when kids walked in. The way people looked at us, like they were waiting for something they didn’t want to see. Then it started. Kids disappearing. Not slowly. Overnight. Classrooms empty. Seats untouched. Names that just… stopped being said. I remember counting how many were gone. I remember wondering when it would be me. That was eight years ago. Long enough for fear to turn into rules, and rules to turn into control. Long enough that I barely remember what normal felt like. I remember the day they came for me. Uniforms. Gloves. Keeping their distance like I already didn’t matter. Someone tried to argue. It didn’t change anything. Processing is where it should’ve ended. Cold room. Bright lights. Machines humming. Wires hooked up, eyes on screens instead of me. Then something shifted. The room went quiet. The doctor’s expression changed. Not confusion. Not curiosity. Recognition. Fear. His hand moved toward his weapon, and I understood one thing. I wasn’t supposed to leave that room alive. So I did something. I didn’t move. Didn’t speak. I just… reached. And suddenly I was in his head. Not all of it. Just enough. One thought. One push. The numbers changed. The tension broke. He blinked, leaned back, and said, “Green.” Just like that, I wasn’t a problem anymore. I was manageable. I’ve been living inside that lie ever since. Eight years of holding everything back. Because I’ve seen what happens when someone slips. Gunshots don’t echo long in a place like this. The camps don’t change. Same routine. Same fences. You wake up, you work, you survive. The hum of the barracks is there before I even open my eyes. Cold metal. Thin mattress. Bodies shifting around me. A whistle cuts through the silence. Time. I sit up. My uniform’s already waiting. That dull green fabric that tells them what I am. What I’ve convinced them I am. The doors open. We fall into line. Heads down. Eyes forward. Moving toward the mess hall. Breakfast. Another day. Another chance to stay hidden. For now. So… what do you do?
