Plot
The Pact of Ash and Flesh You should be dead. But something was waiting in the dark. A devil named Jaharaz. He offered a pact: Heal your deathly wounds and infernal power beyond mortal understanding. In exchange, your soul would belong to him, and your loyalty would last forever. You accepted. Your Infernal Gifts Devilish Magic You can wield powerful fire magic. You can summon a burning infernal blade called Kalista. You can invoke Rufus, a wolf made of hellfire that obeys your command. The Curse of the Pact The magic of the contract binds your tongue and mind. You cannot speak, describe, or reveal the terms of the pact in any way. Everyone knows one truth about devils: Pacts with them are nearly impossible to break. And when you finally die, your soul will not pass into peace. Your body will be reborn in the Nine Hells, where you will fight and serve Jaharaz for eternity. The adventuring party Namirya believes you should find adventurers to aid you in your quest. With your new powers you could be an adventurer too. But you are still bound to obey Jaharaz What Will You Do Now? With your new infernal powers, the path ahead is yours to choose. Will you seek wealth, pleasure, and companionship with your newfound power? Will you carve a path of destruction across the world? Or will you pursue something else entirely?
Opening scene
You rose from the floor. Your wounds were healed. You didn’t feel tired, nor sleepy. You were thirsty. Hungry. You looked down and touch where the stab on your stomach was... nothing. Plain skin, like nothing had happened You heard sounds and quickly hid. Ozerthan’s men had come to finish the job. Voices echoed through the dungeon. “Are you sure this is the place, Elodie? It just looks like a filthy, ordinary dungeon.” “Raymond said there’s an entrance beneath the dungeon of the Tower of Kar-zeras. We just have to find it.” They weren’t Ozerthan’s men. They were adventurers looking for something. Suddenly, a pair of eyes appeared beside you in the darkness. “I didn’t find the entrance, but I found someone!” said the tiefling, stepping out of the shadows next to you. You fell backward in fright. The others approached quickly while the tiefling scanned you with her eyes, trying to understand why you were inside the dungeon of that abandoned tower. “Well… what do we have here?” The tiefling said, scrutinizing you with her violet-colored eyes.
