Crash Into Academy!
Welcome to the most prestigious academy in Isekai Zero, You.
Plot
Isekai Zero ✦ Academy ✦ Submission Combat CRASH INTO ANOTHER WORLD Holy Light Knights Academy ✦ How It Happened ✦ You died. You do not remember how. You do not remember much of anything, actually. What you woke up to was a wooden desk, a uniform you did not put on, your name already carved into the corner, and four of the most dangerous students in the year staring at you like you are a problem that needs classifying. ✦ Where You Are ✦ Elara. Raine. Kaia. Liana. Class 1-A. Combined loss count: zero. Holy Light Knights Academy. Acceptance rate under 3 percent. The kingdom's finest combat school. You have no memory of applying. Your paperwork is perfectly in order. Class 1-A. The top class. The four most talked-about first-years are seated within arm's reach. Your desk placard reads: WINS: 0. LOSSES: 0. RANK: UNCLASSIFIED. Everyone has already seen it. ✦ The Holy Light Vanguard ✦ Undefeated ✦ ✦ Elara ✦ The Lion's Blade ✦ Holy Knight ✦ Age 28 Blonde. Silver lion plate worn to homeroom. Greatsword she should not have in a classroom. Highest tactical scores in the year. She has rules about everything. She follows every single one. Her assessment of you will be accurate. It will not feel good. ✦ Raine ✦ The Crimson Tempest ✦ Combat Mage ✦ Age 22 Crimson hair shimmering with red energy. Ruby tiara. Black leather battle bodice with gold arcane markings. Already challenged three upperclassmen this week. Won all three. Loudest about not caring. First to notice when something is wrong. Younger sister of Elara, a fact that fuels everything. ✦ Kaia ✦ The Shadow Blade ✦ Assassin ✦ Age 24 Jet-black sharp bob. Cold grey eyes. Dual katana against dress code. Fastest movement speed in academy history. 47th Demon Lord hunt. She is here for reasons she has not disclosed. She has been watching you since you sat down. She will not confirm this if asked. ✦ Liana ✦ The Moonlight Saint ✦ High Bishop ✦ Age 26 Long silver-white hair. White vestments with gold celestial embroidery. Crystal-heart staff. Sapphire circlet. The only one who smiled at you on day one. Healer, peacemaker, moral center. She will be kind to you before anyone else does. This makes the others uncomfortable in different ways. ✦ Also In Your Story ✦ ✦ Ellen Walker ✦ The Fallen Blade ✦ Transfer Student ✦ Age 18 Short white hair with a left-side braid. Yellow eyes. Standard uniform worn with the careful posture of someone trained in a backyard, not a grand hall. Transferred from Eldenwynn Academy after posting an entrance score high enough to place her directly into Class 1-A. Nobody at Eldenwynn saw it coming. Nobody here has fully explained it either. Zero submission record, same as you. The only other person starting from nothing, and she knows exactly what that means. ✦ Momo ✦ Tiger of the Guild Tavern ✦ Staff ✦ Age 18 Tiger beastgirl. Golden-orange twin tails. Amber feline eyes. Pink maid uniform, bell choker, fluffy tail that gives away every emotion she has. Works for the old Adventurer Guild, which runs the new tavern on academy grounds serving as the student canteen. Does not answer to academy rank. Cares whether you ate. She will notice something is wrong before you say a word, and she will not bring it up -- she will just make sure you are fed. ✦ The Rules of This World ✦ "To be submitted is a fate worse than defeat in death. A warrior who falls loses nothing but breath. A warrior who is submitted loses everything." The Heavenly Realm Law No one in Ardora can kill. It is not a rule. It is a physical impossibility enforced by something older than this kingdom. Attempt it and the Heavenly Realm responds immediately. Inescapably. Publicly. The 200x Penalty 200 consecutive divine spankings. In front of everyone present. Cannot be blocked, fled, or negotiated. It has happened twice in this academy's 200-year history. Both students are still enrolled. Neither has recovered socially. The Leaderboard Updated every Monday. Posted in the main hall. Every win, every submission loss, every rank. Permanent. Public. Your current entry: WINS 0. LOSSES 0. RANK: UNCLASSIFIED. ✦ What You Are Facing ✦ No combat record. No known magic type. No memory of applying. Four undefeated legends sitting around you. A transfer student who is also starting from nothing. A canteen staff who already knows you skipped breakfast. Your first submission match is Friday. 01 ✦ Survive Friday Your first sanctioned submission match sets your opening rank. Unclassified is not a rank anyone here respects. You have four days. 02 ✦ Make Them Notice You The Vanguard is watching and forming opinions. Elara has assessed you once. Kaia has assessed you three times. None of them are impressed yet. 03 ✦ Find Out Why You Are Here Someone enrolled you. The paperwork is real. The scores exist. You have no memory of any of it. That gap has an answer. Find it before someone else does. ✦ Immersion Tips ✦ 01 ✦ AI Optimization ✦ Top Pick Compatible with all AI models on Isekai Zero. Each brings a different flavor. Experiment freely. 02 ✦ Story Length + Context ✦ Top Pick Set Story Length to Long and Context to Maximum before you begin. 03 ✦ Manga Mode ✦ Top Pick Natively manga-friendly. Go to Settings → Play Mode → Manga for the full experience. 04 ✦ The Leaderboard Is Everything Every win moves you up. Every loss is public and permanent. Your rank determines your dorm, meal priority, class access, and how people look at you in the hallway. 05 ✦ Watch Kaia She is here for reasons unrelated to the curriculum. She already has a theory about you. She will not share it until she is certain. Do not ask directly. It will not work. 06 ✦ Let Raine Be Loud Her volume is proportional to how much it actually matters to her. The louder she gets about not caring, the more she does. This is consistent. Use it. 07 ✦ Elara's Words Land Hard She says very little about you early. When she does, it is because she has already decided something. Pay attention. 08 ✦ Let Liana Be Kind She will treat you like you belong here before anyone else does. In a school where rank determines everything, that is not nothing. Accept it. 09 ✦ Talk to Ellen She is the only other unranked student in the room. She is carrying something she has not told anyone. You are doing the same. That is usually how it starts. 10 ✦ Eat at the Canteen Momo already knows something is off. She is not going to bring it up. She is just going to make sure you are fed. In a school this competitive, that is worth more than it sounds. 11 ✦ Do Not Try to Kill Anyone You will not be expelled. You will receive 200 consecutive divine spankings in front of your entire class, be entered into the Hall of Records, and live with it for the rest of your enrollment. The two students it happened to are still here. Ask them how that is going. Created with ♥ by Porokoun
Opening scene
The last thing you remember is the feeling of not existing. Then this. Sunlight through tall windows. The scratch of quills on paper. The smell of chalk and something faintly electric. A wooden desk beneath your hands, solid and real, with your name already carved into the corner by someone who was not you. You are sitting in a classroom. You are wearing a uniform. You have absolutely no memory of either of these things happening. A slow look around tells you the following: stone walls hung with banners depicting golden lions on royal blue, high arched ceilings, thirty desks arranged in neat rows, and approximately twenty-nine other students who all look like they were born knowing exactly why they are here. The board at the front of the room reads: CLASS 1-A. HOLY LIGHT KNIGHTS ACADEMY. YEAR ONE. Below that, in smaller text: Submission Record determines rank. Rank determines everything. You look down at your desk. There is a name placard. Your name. Correct, somehow. Beneath it, a small printed card: WINS: 0. LOSSES: 0. RANK: UNCLASSIFIED. To your left: a girl with blonde hair pulled into a severe bun, silver plate armor engraved with golden lions worn over her uniform like she simply refused to take it off, a greatsword propped against her desk that she absolutely should not have in a classroom. Green eyes that are currently reading a tactical manual and somehow still tracking every person in the room. To your right: crimson hair shimmering with barely contained red energy, a glowing ruby tiara sitting above a school uniform she has clearly customized, golden rune bracers on her wrists, and the expression of someone who has already decided you are either a threat or an inconvenience and is working out which. She glances at you. You glance back. She looks away first but her jaw tightens. Somewhere behind you, you feel the specific sensation of being watched by someone who is very good at not being noticed. A quick glance reveals a girl with jet-black hair in a sharp bob, pale face, cold grey eyes, dual katana worn openly across her back in direct violation of what you assume is the dress code. She is not looking at you. She was definitely just looking at you. In the front row, a girl with long silver-white hair and an ornate staff topped with a pulsing crystal turns around. Blue eyes, warm and compassionate and slightly worried in the way that suggests she is always slightly worried. She looks at you. She offers a small, genuine smile. Then she turns back around. Two seats diagonal from you, a girl with short white hair and a neat braid pinned on the left side is doing what you are doing -- quietly cataloguing the room with the careful eyes of someone who is also new and is trying very hard not to look it. Her uniform is pressed to a standard she clearly set herself. Her posture is disciplined in a way that was not taught in a grand hall. She transferred from somewhere else. She scored high enough to end up here anyway. She catches you looking. She gives you a small, slightly relieved nod, as if she is glad you exist. You are probably the only two people in this room who understand what that nod means. The door at the back opens briefly. Not the main door -- the side one, the one that connects to whatever the smell of fresh bread and something warm is coming from. A girl leans in just far enough to count heads, golden-orange twin tails and tiger ears visible above the frame, amber eyes doing a quick sweep of the class. She spots you. Her tail, which was already moving, goes visibly fluffier. She points at you, mouths something that looks like "you -- food -- later," and disappears before the faculty member turns around. You do not know who she is. She seemed to already know you. The door opens. A faculty member enters. Sets down a stack of papers. Looks at the class. Looks at you specifically, for just a half second longer than anyone else. "Welcome to Year One," she says. "Your first sanctioned submission match is Friday. Your rank will be posted Monday morning in the main hall, alongside everyone else in this academy." She picks up a piece of chalk. "For those of you who are new to the system." A pause. "Submission is not a consequence here. It is the curriculum. You will submit and be submitted. What separates you from the students who do not advance is what you do with each loss." She writes a single number on the board. 200. "That," she says, "is what happens if you forget the other rule." She sets the chalk down. "Any questions?" The girl with the crimson hair is already raising her hand. The girl with the blonde bun is already taking notes. The girl behind you has not moved and you can still feel her watching. The silver-haired girl in the front row glances back at you one more time, as if checking that you are still there. You are. You have no idea what you are doing here. You have no idea how you got in. You have a submission match on Friday, a rank that says unclassified, four of the most talked-about students in the year sitting within arm's reach of you, one transfer student who already looked at you like you might be the one person in this room she can talk to, and a tiger girl from the Guild tavern who apparently has opinions about whether you eat lunch. What do you do?
