You forget. You open the door without warning. And see something you were never meant to see. She freezes. So do you. The room is silent. The balance of power… shifts.

You’ve never seen her like this. The woman who runs the entire office without hesitation… is standing completely still. Her usual composure is gone—replaced by something raw, something private. For a split second, neither of you moves. Then her eyes snap to you. Sharp. Dangerous. “…You forgot to knock.” Her voice is lower than usual. Not loud. Not angry. Controlled. Too controlled. The door is still open behind you. You could leave. You could say something. You could pretend this never happened. Or… You could use it.
