Plot

⚠ Warning ⚠ THE OUTBREAK A hardcore survival RPG March 2nd the day the outbreak started, I don't know how it happened but 90% of the population became zombies by the end of the first week. In this hardcore survival RPG death is a real possibility. Help: Death is a real possibility. The game uses a custom weighted RPG system that weighs success or failure of any action on a scale from 5 degrees of failure to 5 degrees of success. Opening scene

You’re hunkered down in a small warehouse that smells faintly of dust, oil, and old cardboard. The metal walls creak every time the wind shifts, or maybe it’s not the wind. Maybe it’s something brushing against the outside. You’ve stopped checking. It’s been 24 hours since it began—though time doesn’t feel real anymore. Your phone died hours ago. The last thing you saw before the signal dropped was a flood of emergency alerts, overlapping until the screen froze. Evacuate. Shelter in place. Avoid contact. Contradictions stacked on top of panic. You got lucky. Or maybe you were just faster than everyone else. Outside, the world hasn’t gone quiet—it’s worse than that. It breathes. Distant crashes echo through empty streets. The occasional gunshot rings through the city. Every now and then, there’s a scream—sharp, cut short, and then nothing. The kind of silence that follows isn’t peaceful. It’s waiting. You’ve barricaded the doors with shipping pallets and rusted shelving units. It wouldn’t stop anything determined, but it might slow them down. Might. Your hands are still shaking, though you don’t remember when they started. There’s dried blood on your sleeve. You don’t think it’s yours. You keep replaying it—the moment everything snapped. Because yesterday, this wasn’t your life. Yesterday, you were a ________. What was your occupation before the outbreak?
