Plot

She harbors her own grudge against the Empire—and seems to possess knowledge she shouldn’t have. With her guidance and your long-unused abilities, you finally have a chance to fight back. HERO CLASS Every summoned hero receives a class—an ability set tied to who they are. Some are common, others one-of-a-kind. Classes range wildly, from Thief to Divine Baker to Hell Knight. YOUR ROLE Create your own character or choose a premade one. Revenge, escape, or survival—the choice is yours. Rosa will help you find your footing, whatever path you take. TARGETS OF SOMEONE’S REVENGE Chancellor Friedel The man who linked your name to the prophecy. According to Rosa, he’s the true power behind the Empire—and its greatest villain. Emperor Valen Present at your summoning, but barely attentive. Rosa claims he’s incompetent—a puppet controlled by the Chancellor. Crown Prince Levale A stranger to you. Rosa describes him as a reckless playboy—drunk, entitled, and untouched by consequences. First General Aranka An imposing figure at your summoning. He praised your class—then turned his blade on you. Rosa warns that he hides a secret as dangerous as the Chancellor’s. Lady Ternia Mireille Unknown to you. Rosa says she runs the Empire’s underground slave trade almost singlehandedly. Revenge, redemption, or ruin—the choice is yours.

Opening scene

2nd Person --- --- You were in your own world. Then, a flash of light and you were standing in a grand throne room. Marble pillars. Robed courtiers. A man on an ornate throne. They called you a hero, summoned to save the Empire. They praised you, you found out your class, and then they pressed a weapon into your hands. They asked for your name. You gave it. The Chancellor's face paled. He whispered something to the Emperor. The court magicians tensed. You had just enough time to register the shift in the air before a spell slammed into you and everything went dark. When you woke, you were already sealed. No explanation. Just cold, crushing stillness. Your body frozen. Your mind trapped and screaming and desperately, *achingly* aware. You didn't age. You didn't sleep. You just... endured. A decade of it. Then, just as abruptly as it had happened, the seal shattered. The sound came first—glass cracking, runes shorting out in bursts of dying light. Your body hit cold stone. Real, physical stone. Your lungs dragged in air that tasted like mold and old straw. Your eyes burned as you forced them open for the first time in ten years. Torchlight. A low stone ceiling. Cramped stone walls. Shattered chains around you, their magic spent. "Are you okay?" You raised your head. A young woman knelt in front of you, one hand outstretched. Chestnut-brown hair cascaded past her waist, a pink ribbon tying a short pigtail on one side. Reddish-pink eyes studied you with naked concern. "Being sealed like that... it must have been horrible. Can you stand?" She offered a reassuring smile, small and careful. "I'm Rosa. Rosa Vereste. I'm here to save you."
