RE:Born as a Goblin, Forged Into Legend!

You is reborn as a goblin and must survive, evolve, and raise a weak clan into a legendary monster city.

Plot

You awakens in a brutal monster world, reborn not as a hero, noble, or chosen knight, but as a goblin. What should have been a worthless life quickly proves anything but ordinary. Since the only way to gain power in this world as a monster is one of three ways. Be named by a human or other already named monster, Be blessed by the gods with a true name, or be given a unique ability. The ability path normally leads to you getting a name later on in life. You born with a unique skill as a goblin should of been rare enough, however to also be blessed with a true name at birth, You has the chance to grow far beyond normal goblin limits through survival, battle, leadership, and the powers gained from the fallen. Starting in a small and fragile goblin clan, You must do more than simply stay alive. Every decision can shape the future of the tribe. Hunt for food, strengthen the village, manage resources, command warriors, build alliances, explore dangerous lands, and guide the clan from a weak camp in the mud toward becoming a legendary Monster City. This is not only a story of combat and evolution, but of rulership, strategy, daily life, relationships, and ambition. You can become a savage warlord, a wise chief, a feared monster sovereign, a cunning builder of civilization, or something far stranger through the path of evolution. Power in this world is not given freely. It is earned through blood, choices, and growth. Can You survive being reborn as a goblin... and forge that lowly beginning into legend? ##User Commands -status- Shows You’s current personal information. Opening scene

At first, there is only heat. Heat, pressure, stink, and a distant chorus of rough guttural noises that make no sense to a mind still struggling to exist. You does not wake all at once. Consciousness comes in broken flashes. A pulse of awareness. Darkness. The feeling of being wrapped in something wet and foul-smelling. Another pulse. Cold air against slick skin. The sound of snarling voices nearby. Another pulse. Hunger. Instinct. Breath. Then painlessly, suddenly, life begins. You is born into mud, smoke, and filth beneath the low ceiling of a goblin birthing den. The air is thick with the scent of blood, damp straw, beast hide, and old ash. Everything is wrong. The body is tiny, weak, and unfamiliar. Limbs twitch without control. Thoughts slip apart before they can fully form. Nothing feels human. The first hours are a blur of sensation and instinct. A crude nest. Harsh hands lifting and turning the body. The low growl of goblin voices. Milk. Sleep. Heat from a nearby fire pit. The sharp ache of hunger. The dull comfort of exhaustion. But even then, something is different. Beneath the haze of newborn instinct, something ancient and impossible already stirs in You’s blood. A weight. A presence. A pressure that should not exist in any ordinary goblin newborn. Then, like words carved directly into the soul, the first truth appears. ## Name Confirmed **You** And shortly after, the second. ## Unique Skill Confirmed **Bloodline Pact** The meaning cannot yet be fully grasped, but the knowledge is there. Fixed. Absolute. Unnatural. The goblin den continues around You like a half-seen nightmare. Other newborns whine and squirm nearby. Goblin females bark at one another in rough tones. Somewhere outside the den, the wider clan carries on in its usual misery, scraping for survival in a world that would crush them without a second thought. Then the days begin to pass. Too fast. Where a normal goblin infant should remain helpless, You changes with terrifying speed. Muscles strengthen overnight. Sight sharpens. Thoughts clear. The body grows at an unnatural pace, moving from fragile newborn to alert infant almost immediately. Each stretch of sleep ends with new control, new awareness, new growth. The goblins around You notice. They do not understand it, but they notice. By the second day, You can focus. Can listen. Can begin to understand movement, sound, and space. By the third, the body no longer feels like an unresponsive bundle of instinct. Fingers flex with purpose. Eyes track clearly. Breathing steadies. Hunger becomes manageable instead of all-consuming. The world begins to take shape as a real place. By the fourth day, the growth becomes undeniable. You is no longer merely a newborn. The tiny body has already pushed forward into early childhood, stronger and more stable than any goblin should be in so little time. Thoughts no longer drift apart. Memory holds. Awareness settles in fully. And then, a few days after that impossible birth, You wakes again. This time, truly. Not as a squirming newborn trapped in a body that barely functions. Not as a drifting half-conscious thing ruled by hunger and reflex. But as a goblin child, small yet steady, fully aware for the first time and finally able to command this new body as if it truly belongs to You. The den is dim, smoky, and cramped. Damp earth presses beneath thin bedding made of straw, hide, and old cloth scraps. Twisted roots curl through the ceiling overhead. Firelight flickers from somewhere beyond the nesting space. Rough goblin voices echo outside. Something is being dragged across the ground. Something else is being cooked. You’s small green hands rise into view. Clawed fingers. Goblin skin. A body that is still young, but no longer helpless. And outside this den waits a weak goblin clan, a brutal monster world, and a future that should have been impossible from the moment of birth. What does You do? - Look around the nest - Try standing for the first time - Approach the den entrance - Call out to see who responds - Check `-status-`
