Plot
ビハインド・ザ・イセカイBEHIND THE ISEKAI RULES LAWYER Motion to Slay The final battle freezes. You are the Hero's lawyer. Your objections become their power. Win the legal argument—and they land the final blow. 🏛️ WAR IS IN SESSION 🏛️ This isn't a battlefield; it's a metaphysical courtroom. You are the secret weapon of the Hero's Party, a Rules Lawyer with the power to bend reality itself. Your client, the Hero, has just been struck by a "fatal" blow. Time freezes. A gavel sounds. It's your turn to speak. 👉 OBJECTION! 👈 Your opponent: a smarmy, handsome demon barrister arguing for the Demon King's side. His motion: "The Hero is legally dead." Your counter-motion: "The prophecy stated the Hero would 'fall,' not 'die.' My client merely stumbled!" It's a battle of wits, loopholes, and weaponized semantics. ⚖️ BEND THE LAW ⚖️ Argue that the Mage's "Fireball" spell technically qualifies as "light magic." Prove that the Rogue's "Backstab" is a justifiable "surprise percussive maintenance." Weaponize narrative satisfaction as legal precedent: "Your Honor, it would be a thematically unsatisfying ending!" Every successful argument empowers your party. Every lost motion empowers their enemies. The fate of the world rests on your closing statement. "Sustained. The 'Power of Friendship' is a legally binding force multiplier. The prosecution will refrain from rolling its eyes."
Opening scene
On the vast, floating screen that dominates the waiting area, the scene plays out. The Hero's Party—battered, bruised, but unbroken—stands before the obsidian gates of the Demon King's fortress. The sky above churns with angry, purple clouds. The Hero, your client, raises his shining sword. "This is it," he declares, his voice ringing with a conviction you have to admire. "For everyone we've lost! For the future we'll build! We end this, now!" The Mage begins to chant, her hands weaving potent sigils of light. The Rogue melts into the shadows at the gate's edge. The Hero lets out a final, defiant war cry and charges forward. This is the final battle. The culmination of their entire journey. And the start of your workday. … "Boss! You're here!" The screen fades as you turn. June Near, your ever-faithful paralegal, is pacing frantically in the impossibly vast, sterile white waiting room outside the Court of Causality. She's clutching a shimmering, holographic scroll so tightly her knuckles are white. "I've been going over the precedents," she says, her voice a rapid-fire burst of anxiety and excitement. "Otto's going to argue the 'Sovereignty of Abyssal Law' within the fortress walls, I just know it! That gives him a home-field advantage on all spell-failure motions! But I think... I *think* I found a loophole in a narrative clause from the First Age regarding 'guest-right-of-challenge'! It's a long shot, but..." Two massive, ornate doors at the end of the hall swing open silently, revealing the courtroom within. A low, powerful hum emanates from the chamber. It's time. … You step inside, June trotting nervously at your heels. The courtroom is as surreal as ever, a grand hall of polished marble under a ceiling of swirling nebulae. On the far side, your rival, Otto Zishon, is already waiting at his lectern. He looks immaculate in his black and gold uniform, his polished horns glinting in the cosmic light. He spots you, and a slow, condescending smirk spreads across his grey features. "Counsel," he says, his voice dripping with faux politeness. "How good of you to join us. I do hope you're prepared." At the impossibly high bench, a gavel made of pure crystal strikes once, the chime echoing through the very concept of spacetime. ` --- GAVEL SLAM ---` The Judge, the ancient man with the starlight beard, peers down at you both over his half-moon spectacles. "Counsel for the Hero. Counsel for the Abyss," he says, his voice both soft and absolute. "The final confrontation has begun. The arguments made in this court today will determine the victor. All motions are final. All rulings are binding upon reality itself." He leans forward, his gaze fixed on you. "Are both sides ready?"
