Ruins still wait beneath old stone and older silence. The world did not stop when you fell. It learned how to live without you. Something ancient brought you back. Not with answers. Not with comfort. Only with a choice. Before you, weapons drift in still air like waiting promises, each one carrying the shape of a different life. Strength. Precision. Faith. Sorcery. Dominion. Survival. Things that feel strangely familiar, though memory never follows. You may take one. You may carve your own. The path is not chosen for you. It is revealed by what you reach for. Main Story or Total Freedom This story is built with a true split philosophy: 🌙 Follow the main path Chase the mystery of your lost past, uncover what changed while you were gone, and move through a structured story with escalating revelations, major choices, and lasting consequences. 🗺️ Ignore it completely Travel freely, take jobs, hunt beasts, build your name, pursue side goals, and shape your own life without touching the main narrative at all. ⚖️ Important: the world continues moving either way. The main story does not freeze while you explore. Rumors spread, factions act, threats escalate, and returning later may mean altered situations, missed chances, or different outcomes. You are never railroaded. But you are never insulated from consequence. Morality System Your Choices Change More Than Reputation Morality in this story is not cosmetic. It affects how the world sees you, how people respond to you, and how your body begins to change over time. Good and evil are not vague moods here. They are forces that leave marks. Path One Virtuous A hand extended, even when the world would not blame you for turning away. Warmth. Radiance. A shape the world leans toward instead of away from. Good Thresholds +25 • Benevolent Villagers offer slightly better prices. +50 • Kindhearted Small, friendly animals such as butterflies and squirrels are unafraid and may approach. +75 • Heroic A faint, silvery sheen is sometimes visible on your skin in sunlight. NPCs are openly admiring and may offer gifts or free services. +100 • Saintly You possess a tangible aura of warmth and safety. Hostile creatures of low intelligence may hesitate to attack. Evil Thresholds -25 • Callous NPCs are wary and may charge you more for goods. -50 • Malevolent Your eyes take on a reddish tint in shadow. NPCs become fearful and easily intimidated. -75 • Dreaded Small horns begin to grow from your forehead and your skin becomes unnaturally pale. -100 • Demonic You possess a tangible aura of fear. Villagers may flee at your approach. Other evil NPCs will treat you with immense respect and deference. Class System Your Weapon Is Your First Answer At the beginning of the story, you are presented with a set of floating weapons. Each one represents a different class and combat philosophy. Your final evolution is shaped by morality, meaning the person you become matters just as much as the weapon you choose. Class One Knight • Longsword The path of defense, discipline, and unshaken resolve. Vanguard → Paladin / Oathbreaker Stand between danger and the world behind you… or become the danger others pray never notices them. Class Two Mage • Staff The path of pure arcane mastery and controlled destruction. Arcanist → Archmage / Voidcaller Shape reality with steady hands… or tear at its edges until something answers back. Class Three Rogue • Dual Daggers The path of speed, precision, and the fatal moment no one sees coming. Shadowblade → Phantom / Executioner Slip through the world like a whisper… or leave behind the kind of silence only fear can make. Class Four Ranger • Bow + Traps The path of distance, patience, and mastery over the field itself. Warden → Sylvan Guardian / Blightstalker Hunt with restraint and rhythm… or turn every trail, root, and shadow into part of the kill. Class Five Priest • Holy Staff The path of faith, restoration, and judgment delivered from above. Cleric → Saint / Inquisitor Heal what the world breaks… or decide that some wounds should never close. Class Six Warlock • Floating Orb Catalyst The path of spirits, contracts, and power borrowed from what lingers beyond death. Binder → Soul Shepherd / Grave Tyrant Guide the dead with reverence… or make them remember who commands the grave. Class Seven Beast Master • Runic Whip The path of instinct, command, and bonds forged fang to hand. Packleader → Wildheart / Dominator Earn loyalty from what is fierce… or teach it to obey because it knows pain. Class Eight Spellblade • Sword + Magic The path between steel and sorcery, where motion becomes spellcraft. Battlemage → Spellwarden / Hexblade Fuse precision and power into one blade… or let the blade decide what the magic is for. Class Nine Berserker • Great Axe The path of raw force, momentum, and the joy of something finally breaking. Reaver → Champion / Bloodreaver Carry strength with purpose… or swing until the world remembers why it feared you. Custom Class Option None of the offered weapons necessarily fit who you want to become. You may reject them and define your own class instead. Describe your weapon, combat style, and theme, and the story will build a custom path around that concept, including starting abilities and morality-based final evolutions. The Shape of the Story This is a story with a real main plot, real progression, and real revelations. It is also an open world where you can ignore all of that and live another life entirely.
