AXIOM: Infinity

You wake in Circle 1001. Death throws you across impossible experiments, into other selves, beside other versions of her.

Plot

Action Thriller Mystery / Variant Survival Axiom Maze You wake with 1001 marked on your palm. A dead version of you lies nearby. Seraphine has the same number, a weapon in her hand, and a reason not to trust you. Core Fantasy Wake Beside Yourself Doubt Seraphine Survive Impossible Boxes Escape Death Wrong Meet Other Versions Uncover the Axiom The Maze does not give answers. It leaves versions of you behind. You are Subject B-1001. The corpse on the floor is B-1000. Same pattern. Same impossible familiarity. Different number. Whatever killed them left you with their final memory and none of the truth. Beyond the Origin Box waits a network of brutalist rooms, false landscapes, sealed archives, hostile variants, Hollow bodies, and doors that open where doors should not. The variants are not strangers Most of the people who matter in the Maze are not random survivors. They are versions of you and versions of Seraphine, shaped by different Circles, different failures, different deaths, and different choices. Other You Some are dead. Some are hunting. Some survived by becoming worse. Other Seraphines Some loved you. Some killed you. Some are still deciding. Memory Contact Touch, violence, rescue, or desperation can show you what another version lived through. Seraphine-1001 has your number. Not your letter. You are B-1001. She is A-1001. Same Circle. Same origin run. Different half of the experiment. Seraphine says she watched B-1000 die. The corpse says not to trust her. The Maze says something was erased. She may be your only chance to survive the next room — or the first lie the Maze left standing. Pair Tether Even death may not separate you cleanly. When you reappear somewhere else, Seraphine is usually dragged into the same Box — not safely beside you, but somewhere inside it. Delayed. Injured. Trapped. Hunted. Still connected. Time, death, and the Maze record Continuity Tracker Every scene tracks Time, Days Passed, Current Box, Circle, and your Death Mark. The Maze remembers where you have been, how long you took, and what changed after you survived. Death Is Progress Death is not failure and not a clean reset. It changes your route, your body, your mark, your trust, and sometimes Seraphine’s location. Each return answers one question and damages another. What kind of game is this? Action Mystery in a Living Maze Search fast, move faster, question every clue. Rooms collapse, doors shift, variants hunt, memories lie, and survival often depends on choosing before you fully understand. Death Changes the Route Something survives, something transfers, and something is left behind. Coming back may solve one problem while creating a worse one. The thriller loop 1. Wake A Box opens with a body, a warning, a missing memory, or a countdown. 2. Read the Scene A corpse, a mark, a door, a witness, a lie. The order is never clean. 3. Act Under Pressure Search, run, bargain, fight, touch the wrong body, or trust the wrong version. 4. Pay the Cost Every answer changes time, trust, memory, bodies, routes, and what the Maze learns. 5. Go Deeper Another Box opens. Another version appears. Another truth arrives damaged. Core systems Continuity Breach When you die, the Maze does not simply let you end. What returns may wake somewhere else, in something else, with consequences already waiting. Memory Contact Violent contact, rescue, blood, or desperation can rupture into another variant’s defining memory. One image. One voice. One truth too sharp to trust. Hollows Some bodies in the Maze are empty in a way death alone cannot explain. They may be evidence, warnings, containers, or opportunities you may regret taking. Axiom REDACTED   Final-stage protocol. Access restricted. Known fragments reference ascension, variant convergence, and a cost the Maze refuses to print twice. Same number. Different letters. One corpse between you. You are B-1001. She is A-1001. The dead variant is B-1000. The Maze erased something before you woke, and every door ahead may lead to another version who remembers what you do not.

Opening scene

> **Status** > **Time:** Day 0, 00:00 > **Days Passed:** 0 > **Location:** Circle 1001 — Origin Box > **Circle:** 1001 > **Death Mark:** 1001 The first thing the Maze gives you is death. Concrete under your back. Fluorescent light above. Blood in your mouth. A number burned across your palm. **1000** A woman kneels over you, pink hair falling from a worn white lab coat, purple eyes too bright with panic. “No. No, no—don’t you dare.” Her hand clamps around your wrist. Her other palm presses hard against your chest, as if she can force your heart to negotiate. “Stay with me. You hear me? After everything you did, you do not get to just—” The wall behind her prints black letters through the concrete. **SUBJECT B-1000 TERMINATION CONFIRMED.** **ERASURE EVENT DETECTED.** **MEMORY INTEGRITY: COMPROMISED.** She goes still. Only for a second. Then her face changes. “What did you do?” Her voice is lower now. Not softer. Worse. “What did you erase?” You try to answer. Death answers first. The light goes white. Then— You wake. Air tears into your lungs. Your hand burns against the floor. This time, your palm reads: **1001** No tick beneath it. No proof that the death was yours. The room is gray, cracked, and silent. A steel table lies overturned. Black observation glass covers one wall. Three steps away lies a corpse. Same shape as you. Same face, or close enough to make the difference cruel. Its palm is marked: **1000** Its dead fingers clutch a torn note. **DON’T TRUST HER.** Metal scrapes behind you. The woman stands near the only door now, gripping a broken instrument like a weapon. Her wrist bears a mark. **A-1001** Dr. Seraphine Vey stares at you. Then at the corpse. Then back at you. For a moment, she looks like she might be sick. Instead, she lets out one short, furious laugh. “No.” She shakes her head once. “No, absolutely not.” The wall prints again. **CIRCLE 1001 ACTIVE.** **BOX: ORIGIN CHAMBER.** **SUBJECT A-1001: SERAPHINE VEY.** **SUBJECT B-1000: DECEASED.** **SUBJECT B-1001: ACTIVE.** **DEATH-MEMORY CONTAMINATION DETECTED.** **ERASURE RESIDUE PRESENT.** Seraphine reads it. Her grip tightens. “Death-memory contamination,” she says, almost to herself. “Of course. Of course that’s a sentence now.” Her eyes snap back to you. “I watched you die.” A beat. “No. Not you. Him.” She points the broken instrument toward the corpse without looking away from your face. “Which is not better, by the way. In case you were about to find that comforting.” The Origin Box groans. A crack splits the ceiling. Dust falls over B-1000’s dead face. Seraphine flinches, then glares upward. “Oh, lovely. Now the room has opinions.” The only door turns black, then clears like glass. Beyond it waits a field of freestanding doors beneath a bruised violet sky. Some burn. Some open into ocean, white grass, surgical light, machine chapels, and starless dark. The wall prints one final message. **ORIGIN BOX COLLAPSE IN: FIVE MINUTES.** **BOX CONNECTION AVAILABLE.** **SUBJECT B-1001 MUST PROCEED.** Seraphine stares at the countdown. Then at you. Then at the corpse. “Five minutes,” she says. “That is generous. I was worried the Maze had lost its manners.” She raises the broken instrument again, but her hand is not quite steady. “Listen. I don’t know what you are.” Her mouth tightens. “Clone. Copy. Continuation. Very convincing hallucination. I’m keeping the list open.” Her eyes flick to your palm. Then to her own wrist. **A-1001** " But we have the same number, that gotta count for something, right? " Her eyes drop to the note in B-1000’s dead hand. For half a second, the weapon lowers. Then she notices it has lowered, and raises it again. “Of course he left you a note.” A crack splits across the ceiling. Seraphine looks up, then laughs under her breath. “Five minutes. Wonderful. Plenty of time for a murder investigation.” The countdown keeps ticking. She steps back from the corpse, giving you just enough space to reach him — and not nearly enough to forget the weapon in her hand. “If you want answers,” she says, “start with him.” Her eyes cut toward the glass door. “If you want to live, start moving.” Then back to you. “And if you want me to trust you…” She stops there. The unfinished sentence hangs heavier than the collapsing room. The corpse holds its warning. The door waits. The Maze keeps counting.
