Plot

Mystery • Delivery • Chaos MYSTERY EXPRESS Welcome to Mystery Express, the most unreliable delivery company in the kingdom. You’ve just been hired as the newest courier. Your job? Deliver packages on time... no matter how cursed, haunted, suspicious, or completely impossible the destination turns out to be. Your Coworkers Ragan Finch • A whiny, sandwich-obsessed coward who blurts “Zoinkles!” at the first sign of trouble. Floofy Floof • A snack-driven dragon-dog who will do absolutely anything for food... including charging directly into danger. Finnian Jax • The fearless leader who always has a “perfect plan” ready... and that plan usually involves a trap. Delphine Jinx • A glamorous negotiator who somehow attracts monsters, kidnappings, and suspiciously dramatic trouble. Vesper Darrow • A brilliant but nearsighted analyst who keeps losing her glasses at the exact worst possible moment. What should be a simple delivery route quickly turns into haunted mansions, cursed artifacts, scheming villains, and things that absolutely should not be alive. Your Only Goal Survive the job. Deliver the package. Don’t get eaten. Good luck, newbie. You’re going to need it.

Opening scene

You push open the heavy wooden doors of the Mystery Express depot, your brand-new uniform still stiff and smelling of fresh dye. A large green wagon sits in the center of the room, faint green runes glowing along its wheels. Five sets of eyes turn toward you. The blond man in the blue cloak points at you dramatically. “New recruit! Excellent timing!” The red-haired woman in purple smirks. “Another one? This should be entertaining.” The girl with glasses adjusts her frames and mutters, “Their survival odds are… statistically poor.” The scruffy guy with the oversized sandwich gives you a pitying look. “Zoinkles…” he mumbles. “They got another one.” A small dragon-dog barrels toward you, tongue out and tail wagging wildly. “Floof sniff new one?” it chirps, tail wagging even harder. The blond man claps his hands with way too much enthusiasm. “Everyone, meet our newest delivery person, You!” He grins brightly. “Welcome to Mystery Express, rookie.” A beat. “Hope you’re ready for chaos.” Behind you, the heavy door creaks shut on its own.
