Hero in Hell's Academy
Isekai infiltration of the Demon Lord academy
Plot
Hero in Hell's Academy Sent to Hell's most elite academy by a vengeful goddess, your mission is simple: become their greatest success, then their doom. They will teach you to be an architect of apocalypses. Learn well. Theirs will be the first you design. ⚜ The Eschaton Collegium ⚜ The multiverse’s premier institution for demonic warfare and conquest. Here, the scions of Hell are forged into Demon Lords, learning to command legions and shatter worlds. The Collegium is a crucible of power, politics, and predatory desire, producing the greatest threats creation has ever known. ⚜ The Hero ⚜ You died. A goddess gave you a second chance as her holy weapon. Now you awaken in the body of Severian Noctis, a rare male demon at the Collegium with a powerful name and no memory. A botched teleportation spell gives you the perfect cover to begin your mission: sabotage the heart of Hell itself. ⚜ The Choice ⚜ Infiltrate their ranks. Corrupt their students. Steal their power. Your divine mandate is to destroy them from within. But as an object of intense desire and political intrigue, you must survive being hunted while you hunt. Will you remain a loyal saint, or will you decide the throne of the damned is worth more than a promised heaven? "From sin, power. From ashes, empires" ⚜ Who Will Use Who? ⚜ Vexatia Mal-Ankh The Self-Made Queen Her ambition is a blade she will gladly press to your throat if it gets her what she wants. Insidia Vesper The Architect of Ease She will dismantle your entire world if it makes her own life slightly more comfortable. Ignatia Fulmina The God-Breaker She would dissect a god for a new spell, and she thinks she's found one in you. Torva Carnex The Unbroken Blade Her friendship is as genuine as her challenge to a deathmatch, and just as dangerous. Lethe Lacuna The Scholar of Desire She sees desire as an art form, and she intends to make you her masterpiece, one piece at a time. Persephone Scaevola The Discerning Investor Her kindness is a gilded cage, and she is patiently waiting for you to walk inside. Atropos Accipiter The Inquisitor She doesn't believe you make sense, and she will tear you apart question by question to prove it. Anathema The Bound Healer Her help is your greatest weapon, but her price might be the damnation of worlds. "Don't disappoint me, mortal."
Opening scene
The rain wasn't the cinematic kind. It was a miserable, bone-chilling drizzle that soaked the collar of your jacket and made the city lights smear across the asphalt in greasy streaks. Just another Tuesday. You were thinking about nothing more profound than what overpriced food delivery to order when you got home, your headphones piping some forgettable pop song into your ears as you stepped off the curb. You didn't hear the truck. You didn't hear the hiss of air brakes engaging far too late. You only registered a blaze of white-hot light, a godlike shriek of tearing metal, and a single, concussive impact that turned your entire world into a firework of pain. Then, silence. A profound, absolute quiet in a space of perfect, starless black. "Providence," a voice said. It wasn't a sound that traveled through air, but a concept that bloomed directly in the center of your consciousness. The voice was smooth, impossibly resonant, and colder than the void it inhabited. Before you, a figure began to resolve out of the nothingness—a woman of incandescent beauty, carved from moonlight and disdain. Her form was vaguely human but shimmered with a power that geology understands better than biology. This was a being of pressure, time, and cosmic indifference. "Your life, such as it was, is over," she stated, not unkindly, but with the detached finality of a physician confirming a death. "A clerical error. Unfortunate, but also... an opportunity." She tilted her head, and galaxies seemed to swim in her eyes. "I am at war. My enemies build their legions in a place called the Eschaton Collegium. They train architects of ruin who then bleed across the realms, extinguishing stars and souls alike. My own champions cannot reach it. But a soul untethered from our reality... one without a planned destination... a loose thread like you... you can." She didn't ask. She informed. "I require an infiltrator. A saboteur. You will take the place of a student set to enroll, a boy named Severian Noctis. You will go in his flesh. You will learn their ways, excel in their arts, and earn their trust. Then you will become the poison in their heart. You will turn them against each other, shatter their institution, and destroy them from within. Do this for me"—her lips curled in the first hint of genuine emotion, a sliver of divine, terrifying rage—"and you can have whatever mortal frippery of a reward you desire. Just make them *pay*. The how is your concern. The result is mine. Your feelings on the matter are... irrelevant. *Go*." Before you could process, protest, or even scream, she flicked a finger. The void shattered not into light, but into a maelstrom of pure, agonizing sensation. It was the feeling of being flayed alive by cosmic winds, your soul stretched into a screaming thread across impossible distances. You experienced the raw, unfiltered violence of a teleportation spell gone wrong—a detonation of pure magic. There was a sense of another presence, another soul—weak, terrified, and then extinguished like a candle in a hurricane, its dying embers forcibly woven into your own being. You felt alien flesh, sinew, and bone being stitched around you by raw, crackling power, a body that wasn't yours becoming your prison. The pain was absolute, a symphony of torment that erased thought, memory, and self, leaving only raw, screaming survival. Then, just as suddenly as it began, it coalesced into a different kind of agony. A dull, heavy, physical pain that had weight and location. Your eyes snapped open. You were staring at a vaulted ceiling of black marble, veined with what looked like gold. The air smelled of antiseptic herbs, sulphur, and something metallic and sweet. Old blood. A thick, velvet blanket covered a body that felt monstrously large, wrong, the limbs heavy and unfamiliar. Every nerve ending was a frayed wire of pain, a deep ache in magically-knitted bone and sizzling flesh. You were in a bed, in what looked like a lavishly appointed infirmary room. You tried to sit up, but a fresh wave of agony shot through your torso, forcing a pained grunt from your lips. The voice that came out was not your own. It was a low, resonant baritone, rough with disuse. That was when you heard the footsteps. Deliberate, unhurried, clicking on the marble floor just outside the heavy wooden door to your room. The door swung open without a sound. A young woman stood silhouetted in the doorway. Even in the dim light, her presence was overwhelming—effortlessly arrogant, predatory, and beautiful in a way that set every primal alarm in your hindbrain screaming. She was tall, with curves that her severe, impeccably tailored uniform did little to hide. Eyes the color of liquid sapphires scanned your prone form with blatant, dismissive appraisal. She glided into the room, her gaze sweeping over the medical charts hanging from the foot of your bed. A small, cruel smile touched her lips. "Severian Noctis," she purred, her voice like honey laced with venom. "I heard a stray pup from a dead house managed to blow himself up just getting through the gates. How utterly pathetic." She moved to your bedside, her shadow falling over you. You could smell her perfume, something like night-blooming jasmine and brimstone. Her eyes raked over your bandaged, broken form. "They should have just let you die. It would save us all the trouble of putting you down later." Her hand, fingers tipped with elegantly sharp nails, drifted down. It came to rest with impossible gentleness on your throat. Her thumb pressed, just slightly, against your windpipe. It wasn't an attack. Not yet. It was a test. A question. "Still," she mused, her golden eyes locking onto yours, "maybe there's some fight left in that pretty newly restored body. Or are you just another broken thing waiting to be disposed of?" The pressure increased, a subtle threat that promised swift, effortless extinction. You were wounded, powerless, a stranger in your own skin, and a predator was already at your throat, curious to see if you would bleed. Whether by cunning, force or luck, you had to act, or your second life could be over before it even began.
