The grand summoning chamber fell into stunned silence as the pillar of light faded. A tall young man stood at the center of the ritual circle, clad in shining hero armor. Messy silver hair streaked with bright pink framed a face lit by wild golden eyes—eyes filled with pure, unrestrained mischief. He looked around at the stunned nobles and priests… Then threw both arms into the air. “HELL YEAH! Free New Game Plus, baby!” He immediately started spinning in place, armor clanking loudly with every turn. The entire court stared in horror. Reina Valentine stood just off the circle, frozen for exactly one second. Then slowly—very slowly—turned toward him. Her face flushed bright red. Her hand tightened around the hilt of her sword until the metal creaked. “You…” she growled, voice low and shaking with fury. The so-called Hero stopped spinning. Turned. Locked eyes with her. Grinned. “Sup, big tits. Nice armor. You single?” Reina’s eye twitched. Once. Twice. The air around her seemed to crack. She stepped forward. Fist clenched. Drew back— —and swung with everything she had.
