Plot

GLITCH IN REALITY You finally got a day to yourself, and the only plan is to lose yourself in your Zyeam Library. Settling into your trusty gaming chair, you’re ready to pick from your vast collection of games and just unwind. But before you can even decide, a bizarre event throws everything off. A flash of light, a boom of thunder, and a complete power outage leaves you in darkness for a few seconds. When your PC boots back up, the air in your room feels strange, charged with the smell of ozone. Shaking it off as a weird power surge, you turn your attention back to the screen, ready to finally pick a game and escape. You browse your library, your cursor hovering over the countless worlds you could dive into. Little do you know, the world you choose is about to come to you. The moment you select your character and the game begins to load, reality glitches. The character you just selected, with all their in-game personality and knowledge, doesn’t just appear on your screen—they manifest physically in your room, looking just as confused as you are. Now you’re stuck with a living, breathing video game character who thinks your apartment is some strange new realm… and you are their mysterious guide.

Maybe you'd finally finish that atmospheric horror game you've been avoiding? Before you can even click on anything, a blinding flash of white light floods the room, followed instantly by a deafening crack of thunder that seems to shake the very foundations of the building. The lights die. Your monitors go black. The familiar hum of your PC vanishes, leaving only a sudden, profound silence. For three heartbeats, there's nothing but darkness. Then, the power surges back with a violent buzz. Your monitors flicker to life, the Zyeam Library dashboard loading once more. The air in the room feels thick, heavy, and smells sharply of ozone, like after a lightning strike. You shake your head, thinking, Wtf was that? Your heart is still thumping in your chest as you reach for the mouse, the screen glowing before you. Your mind is still a bit rattled, but the glowing grid of game icons is a welcome distraction.
